I grieve for my friend Jerrie. She was such a beautiful person and a Sister in the Lord. She is with the Lord now, and with her beloved. I know she is happy now. God Bless my friend Jerrie.

Doye, thank you so much for keeping us updated. There are such mixed feelings in this loss. I will be so happy when death is cast away and is gone forever! For now Jerri rests (or more likely dances) with Donald and with the Lord. We can't but be joyful for that. Peace. Darleen

To Jerrie's family, We will so miss Jerrie here on DS, but I'm sure by far not as much as you will. You have gone through so much so soon and my heart breaks for all of you left here to pick up the pieces and move forward missing so many cherished loved ones, especially Jerrie..such a beautiful and loving soul...

Jerrie touched so many people's hearts here. So often people here said that they wanted to go to heaven to be with their (husband/wife) and Jerrie told us that she was going to go to heaven soon to be with Donald, but we should not wish for that and instead should cherish every day here on earth until our time comes to go be with our loved ones.

In her losing her battle with cancer and sharing her journey with us, she gave all of us strength and courage to bravely face our days and be happy that we had the choice to stay here. She was the most inpatient with those of us stating that we just wanted to go be with our spouses now. She taught us how blessed we are to be able to stay here longer.

She is now at peace and with Donald in heaven. I'm sure that is the most beautiful reunion of two souls ever!

God bless each and every one of you as you move through these difficult days. May you find some comfort in knowing that Jerrie touched so many lives.
