To my Husband,
I have loved you since I was a teenager. We made a life full of laughter and good times. You were my world and now you are gone. I honestly don't know how I have made it through the eight months without you.
Honey Bear, I will never forget you but have to start living again. I cannot keep hiding in my room while the world goes on without me. I am getting help to become a strong woman that can handle anything that comes my way.
I am starting all over again. Not only did I lose you but I lost my job. I need to be strong for our son. I am going to classes to learn how to live without being terrified and how to be a single Mom to our son. I want our son to be able to look back at this terrible time in our lives and know that I was strong enough not to let this loss eat me alive.
I made up with your family today. You were so crushed by them but your son needs to meet your family. I have forgiven all the people who I have hated for years because they hurt you. Your son needs both of our families in move on. Please understand that I am doing this for the good of our child.
I will never stop loving you. Your will always be my best friend. Please watch over us until we are together again. You were a truly loving, caring, and honorable man.
See you on the other side,

Just thought I would join this group now that I am a widower. My wife passed away May 28th. She was "The Wind Beneath My Wings". When I met her, I was a drunken, dope smoking, fighting, hell raising biker. She told me if I could get rid of the inner storm within me, that I could be a blessing to people. God placed her in my path to stop me. I have been drug and alcohol free now for 53...

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I am at ten months now. I can hear my wife Lyn screaming at me to start moving forward already. Stop moping around and being depressed and said. And so I am. Don't know where it will lead me. But it's funny I am looking forward to what may be around the corner.
I stay in my faith so I know He has a plan.
Just taking it one day at a time. I just don't want to throw away tomorrow by worrying about yesterday.
Take care.
Peace, Tim
Thank you so much for sharing the letter with all of us. It was so heartfelt and moving.
You loved him so and we certainly felt it. You did the right thing for you and for your son when you moved forward with his family. You're a smart girl and you will survive this.
