I remember the moment I typed this sobbing and crying. I was destrout waiting for the end of my torment. I wanted to stop feeling. I just wanted to be over it. You soon realize that you cant get over it
I have come to peace with my wifes death. I didn't and wont get over it.
I didn't think of myself as being spiritual and I wasn't expecting this but I had a very moving dream about my wife and about the after life. I think someone up their knew that I would go crazy if I wasn't given this gift. So I had a dream and I still remember every detail of it. I owe much of my healing here at daily strength and a lot of it to this dream I will never forget!
I don't cry for my wife anymore unless they are tears of joy knowing that 1 day I will be with her and she is waiting. I now look at my wifes death and death in general as a ne and better beguining with no ending.
The only time I cry is when I am around her family it gets depressing and I get mad it brings back sad facts of wrongs an misdeeds done to me and my wife before she past. When I think about how sad we were before she died, I cant write about this tonight, it just hurts and I know better so I am done. If you are curious about all the horrible shit you'll have to look at some posts from my past and you will find many of them.
ps. Thanks philnigash for bringing this back. you didn't take anything from me. It kinda makes me feel not so alone. Remember that ur feelings are original no matter how many times it is posted by others. Thanks though for honoring my post, That was nice. Almost everyday I see posts so similar to something I posted. But I post a lot because I have many issues in my life that aren't resolved. I haven't posted any really depressing things in a while. I think I am going on 2 weeks. Wish Me Luck
I wish all of you with the blessings I have received. I know joy now
Much smaller vials/urns are also sold ~
A couple of GF's use them to hang their DH's their rear view mirror ~
Do whatever helps you with this time in life. The grieving is all about what makes you feel better.
I think some of the ideas mentioned were very cool - especially the launching in space idea - wow! I have had friends here who took the urns everywhere with them. I think if you want to travel with ashes you need to have some sort of paperwork with you to prove what they are (and not drugs I guess).
I think it's great you have had a good and enlightening dream and that you are feeling better. I am glad.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
I feel there is Nothing disrespectful in whatever you are comfortable doing with his ashes including having them in the trunk of your car. Just do what gives you peace. Sharon
Thank everyone who has posted I have decided to hide them and entrust someone with the where abouts so I can give our son the ashes and when he is ready too, He can burry then where I requested.
