Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Being alone is not being lonely, but being WITHOUT that special person, losing your connection, facing each day and night knowing that he is not there by your side and will not ever be again is a most devastating human condition. It IS losing a vital part of yourself.
Take courage and miss it, and know that it is very normal.

Hugs to you.
So sorry for your loss.
I am here now to say that you can survive the unsurvivable. I did! One breath, one baby step, one day at a time...by being kind to yourself and accepting that all of what you are going through is normal considering the huge loss that you are living through.
I remember it was years before I could think of anything beyond the "day" that I was in. To think beyond that was just too painful knowing that Denny would not be there.
I am over 3 years now. You are coming to the right place coming here. It helped me so much to know that what I was going through, (even though I felt like it was killing me and I would not survive), was normal.
Please give yourself hugs from me.
