I just lost my husband of 32 years on 9/5/15. He had a sudden heart attack. They brought him back but he was brain dead so I had to let him go all over again. We only had each other no children and I am so lost. Due to a recent job loss he had no life insurance so I must return to work on 9/14/15 in order to survive but it is so hard to even get through each day. I have my in laws who are wonderful but really need to communicate with others who have experienced this type of thing. I hurt so bad and miss him so much. How do you survive this pain?

Thank you for your support and know that you are not alone. My thoughts are with you all and we just have to remember that wherever they are our loves know how much we miss them and they are always with us in our hearts. I am sure they don't like to see our tears (my husband could never stand to see me cry) but I hope he knows these tears come from love and my happiness of being lucky enough to have him for the last 32 years. I just wish it could have been longer.
My heart goes out to you. Rest assured we on this board are your friends. We care and will support you when ever you need.

We are able to give each other the empathy & real understanding, which is nowhere to be found except with those who are 'in the same boat' as us.
