Thanks for the post and a chance to tell everyone how I met the most wonderful man in the world.
Hugs, Dianne
I hadn't thought about that first "date" in a long time. What a wonderful memory.

Yep, a pillow fight ensued and it was the most glorious pillow fight I've ever participated in.

I threw myself into my job traveling and setting up new units and thought that at my age, 47, I would have more of a chance to be blown up by terrorists than get married (that was a statistic published in Time Magazine for women over 40) I had given up hope, gave it no thought and worked and went out with my women friends. One day Rudy walked in and I was introduced, a few weeks later he walked me to my car and kissed me like I have never been kissed before. That was it, I was toast and we remained together and only fell more deeply in love as each day went by.
I know that will never happen again and I am in no way ready for anything now but who knows. Love manifests itsef in many different ways. GoneForever is right, Live for today as there are no guarantees
That fall I made a point of sitting next to him in chemistry class so I could be his lab partner. We started dating in October and the rest is history.
