He was the love of my life and like you, my world revolved around him. Sometimes the pain is so unbearable I feel like it's crushing me but I do find some help on this forum when I feel like I'm going crazy. Hugs to you, I hope you find it helpful here too.
Sending gentle hugs and prayers your way.
Blessings,
Sharon
I lost my husband on 2/12/2013 to colorectal cancer.
You are still in the early stages. Glad you are keeping busy, I stayed real busy at first. It was the only way to make it through the day.
Hugs, Christine
I would like to introduce myself as Sammantha and I lost my husband April 23, 2013. He died due to double pneuromoania ( my spelling is bad) and he was a diabetic who never checked himself. As I have learned in my 9 years of marriage is that you will always hold the memmories of him in your heart and you will cry alot the crying helps you heal it is ok to cry. I am at the stage of anger because we had so many plans. I just spend a lot of time with my animals when I feel low. I hope this group helps you like it has helped me. If you need to talk we are all here for you.
I see some of you here have recently lost your spouses. Someone had told me it doesn't get better it just gets different and i find that
to be true. That is one reason after two years i am on this forum. My brother was diagnosed with esophageal cancer last October, he is still
with us and doing ok. I mention this because as soon as he found out he had cancer he joined a forum and said it's been a big help so thought i'd give it a try.
No body i no personally has lost a spouse and our families live 75 miles away so i've been going through this basically alone as i'm sure some of you have been.
Anyway i'm here. I still have questions and maybe some helpful input.
