I feel like maybe I should just give up and take a long walk off a short pier.
In the last few months I've lost my husband, my job, (feel little hope of finding another), my family, (except my mother), my friends, my fish all died, told my dog probably has a disease with 2-3 yr life expectancy, had raccoons in my attic tear apart the house, all 4 cars in the repair shop at once (one car alone was $2600). Not to mention the dishwasher, waterheater and plumbing which all broke within the last 2 wks. And had my car insurance cancelled - even though there have been no accidents in over 1 year. I think the insurance was cancelled because of low credit score after my husband and I lost our jobs on the same day last year plus my part time job the day before.
After 6 weeks (and worry) my agent called and said she found us insurance. We've had the insurance for 2 wks now and my son just called to say he was in another accident - his fault.
I'm ready to give up only I don't know how. Good thing IL is flat - there are no cliffs to drive off.

A very wise person also told me, "This too shall pass." I know we will never forget our partners, but the other events and frustrations will hopefully be resolved and go away.
I am so glad that your son is O.K. after his accident. I remember those years with young drivers; not easy! You do have a lot on your plate right now. Remember we are all here for you, take care, and vent anytime!

my hubby died May 10th (so hard to see that in print)
first time to do that. It hurts so bad I wish I could just die too.
Who cares about anything else. I know I have the to do list and it is not going away. But just don't care. People think we should just move on. But how does one start that?
