Cries over anything

Does anyone else feel this way? It might just be the holiday season but I'm more emotional now than ever - about anything! Someone says something nice and the next thing I know I'm bawling. TV commercials, shows, doesn't seem to he any rhyme or reason. Nothing directly connected to my husband. Just overly sensitive. Tell me I'm not alone or insane please. Liz

I am the same Liz, Before I go to church my teen age daughters will tell me not to cry. This weekend my older daughter put on my make up and included eye make up. I asked her what if I cry, she said then your make up will smug. We all laughed. They have never seen me cry before now.
We will get over this Liz. Crying is good for the soul.

You cry, cry, cry; until your eyes become dry, and then you cry some more. At seventeen months my eyes hurt too much to cry. I'm sad, but trying not to be. Some days I actually succeed.
I do fun, interesting things. People tell me how wonderful I look, since Im half the size I was when I was happy.
Liz, you're not alone, but the world I've been living in since my husband died is insane, so I can't help you there. This is my second Christmas alone, so I'm choosing to ignore the whole thing.

I wish I could ignore Christmas this year. Last year, I went all out, trying to convince myself I was fine. This year it is hitting hard. Spring, hurry. Sandee
