Comedy a day

So much sadness. So many tears. I want to change that so for the next year I vow to watch, read, listen to at least one comedy routine a day. I got the idea watching Betty White on SNL last night. I just watched the first ten minutes but she made me laugh. And I thought, why not laugh once a day?

Care to join me?



It doesn't have to be something that will take hours. 1 minute, 2 minutes, 5 hours. Just try to enjoy the moment.

The last comedy movie I saw was "Date Night." I still laugh when I think of that taxi.

Great Post. David and I loved, "Planes,trains and automobiles" with Steve Martin and John Candy.
I get a laugh out of some of the kids on you tube. Check out David at the dentist, Baby saying blood and Charlie bit my finger for a few of my favourites.

My favorite Jack Lemmon movie is "Some Like It Hot" - still funny.

I like a lot of the classic old comedies from the 30's and 40's - The Marx Brothers, Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers, anything with Cary Grant.

I love British comedy - Eddie Izzard is a favorite, and I have some of the comedy series on DVD.

I don't watch a lot of tv, but "Two and Half Men" is an occasional guilty pleasure.

Cliftskat, My husband treated me to a theater where they showed "Some Like it Hot" and served dinner. Tony Curtis sighned autographs and talked about working on the movie. A truly great evening that is close to my heart because this was only a few months ago.

Donate that is too funny,LMAO. Cliffskate Two and a Half Men is very funny. Used to love all the dramas on TV especially the medical shows, had the real thing in my life for a year. Now I tend to look at comedies when I do look at TV shows.
