I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion, in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend.

Thank you, Michele.
Every word, Dayna, every word.

Well, I'm away decompressing while you all are falling apart. Not to make a joke of what's going on but WHAT'S GOING ON?
My point of view: For a few weeks now I've been sensing "tension" coming from a few posters. I'm sensing religious tension being forced down my throat [something I balk at easily!] I'm a spiritual, loving woman but when someone forces anything on me......I will, like a caged bird, try to escape. I didn't feel that the leaders of the forum were acting as "leader" should by re-directing some of the religious gobbelygoop! It bothered me, I stayed away from it. I will confront someone on the grounds of their religious beliefs, [which is why it surely doesn't belong here!] I'm an escape artist when I'm uncomfortable.
I sense our Dayna is escaping. Far be it for me to hinder someone's choice of freedom and when they choose to do it.
I joined this forum right around the same time that Dayna and Dewey came on [maybe a little bit after], it didn't matter they both made me feel welcome and opened their arms to me. I must tell you without both of them I wouldn't have done as well. They tag-teamed me [little did they know that I was working as an angel to bring them together!]
Sue, Val and so many others also added to strengthening my resolve to be ME again. I will forever be grateful to all of them for that.
I wish all of you the courage to see through the "stuff" that will be thrown at you while you are on the road to recovering from your horrible losses.
With Much Love & Grace,
Roz
The tension here has been worrisome to many of us newbies. And having one of our most trusted companions leave us so early on this dark path is just devastating. You say you would not have done as well without Dayna. I'm so afraid I won't either.
That's all I can say right now.....I'm so afraid.
Warm thoughts,
Linda
When I say that Dayna and Dewey were "there" when I needed help and I was at my most vulnerable.....I'm being very sincere! That said, when I or you start writing about our fears and trouble with the grieving process we're ready, we're ready to be guided forward and OUT!
You're ready Linda.....You're ready to heal and move forward.....Keep going. Now that you've pointed your feet in the right direction of healing into your new life don't let anybody get in your way. The worrisome nature in the beginning is so normal and soon will turn to strength and the knowledge that your journey to healing has begun.
Some folks love the drama and will stir the pot of discontent and worry. YOU and others like you can't be motivated by the darkness of it all. YOU MUST be the beacon of light that shows others how to regain their courage.
Folks like you will help others just like you, you all need each other even if Dayna, me and others who are further in their journey move on, you must not quit until its on your terms and you feel ready.
Again, YOU are the Captain of YOUR Ship!
With Love,
Roz
Cancer forum leaders have to be constantly on the alert, people are often in shock from a recent diagnosis. Scam artists know there is a very vulnerable community there. So accusation of scamming go back and forth. It's tricky. Like it is here.
Thanks my friend and peace to you my lady!
We will be meeting in the near future!
Hug to you!
Dewey
