But please explain something to me......everything is going up and has been for years, plus in the private industry, people are still getting pay increases. Even our House members and Senators got an increase in pay. So WTF.....are we non-citizens because we are older or sicker than most. One has to wonder......is it because of more and more "Baby Boomers" are retiring and collecting and it is costing more and more each year? I have written to my two US Senators (Lieberman and Dodd), and my House member (Larson) and have yet to hear from them. Saw Larson this a week ago in a parade in town. Yelled out to him to vote "NO" on amnesty and repel ObamaCare.....both he and Blumenthal looked over and got nervous. I yelled the same to the lady running for Larson's seat and got the thumbs up.
I think I know a screwin when I 'feel' one.
"In economics, inflation is a rise in the general level of prices of goods and services in an economy over a period of time.[1] When the price level rises, each unit of currency buys fewer goods and services; consequently, inflation is also an erosion in the purchasing power of money a loss of real value in the internal medium of exchange and unit of account in the economy.[2][3] A chief measure of price inflation is the inflation rate, the annualized percentage change in a general price index (normally the Consumer Price Index) over time.[4]"

Plus they (Elected officials) say they need to increase the taxes. They need the tax money more then ever now. I say take the 740bil allocated for Afghanistan and bring home our (Brave) troops. We need to help Americans first !!!!!!! Tell the guy that's going to lose his home and has no job here that : Oh ! The afghanistan campaign is going good and we'll be sending them more money ...

They talk about the amount of money seniors get is keeping them out of poverty in one sentence and then say seniors avg pay is $1000 a month which is below the poverty level!!!
The easiest way for gov't to save money and make themselves look good is to not pay the cola. I'm furious over this.
