So we had Christmas packed with family drama, 2 days later the rehearsal and rehearsal lunch (for our wedding celebration -which btw, had every kind of catastrophe you could immagine, people unable to get on base-including the groom, Marines not showing up to do the sword arch, non of our dresses fit, photographers camera malfunctioning, etc), then the actual wedding celebration on the 29th (with every possible thing gone wrong you could imagine: flower orders delayed, cars breaking down, Marines swords getting locked up then the Marines geting called out for a terrorism drill, photography session getting screwed up, guests leaving, etc), and so when New Years Eve came along, after shuttling more people to the airport we were so POOPED we just went to bed.
How was yours?
Glad yours was good. Sounds intense.
Yeah this was kind of different this year. Some of us haven't all been together in one space like that in oh.... maybe 10 yrs, idk.... . PLus the addition of my new husband's family. You can say it was a circus. But it was fun and adventurous. We ran around the island doing fun things like going to a waterfall, seeing Pearl Harbor, sight seeing along the north shore, etc. Chaotic and full of drama but fun.
Cant' wait to read about other people's holidays!
