God, our Father, I turn to you seeking your divine help and guidance as I look for suitable employment. I need your wisdom to guide my footsteps along the right path, and to lead me to find the proper things to say and do in this quest. I wish to use the gifts and talents you have given me, but I need the opportunity to do so with gainful employment. Do not abandon me, dear Father, in this search, but rather grant me this favor I seek so that I may return to you with praise and thanksgiving for your gracious assistance. Grant this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.

keep on keeping on it will all fall in place in HIS time...but in mean time take any job offer now so that you can add on to your life needs...

Prayer is what is going to get us all through this. We are more than just our job descriptions. We are real people who have been called to this life to not just work, but to enjoy our lives.
We must do what we can to find work, but we must take care of ourselves as well and not stress and give in to depression. We will be no good to our next employer or anyone else if we don't take care of ourselves and give what we cannot change over to God so He can do a good work in our lives.

You got it, tryingnottobemad1! I have been through this many times and the truth is, without God, we are going to run ourselves mad trying to do in our own strength what only He can do.
Is it frustrating? YES!!! But I am living proof that you CAN get through it with patience, determination, and faith.

Amen! This is my prayer also. I have been out of work for a little over a year now, and my unemployment benefits are about to run out. I am trusting God to show me the way to the right job before the money runs out. Statistics say the likelihood of this happening are slim to none, but God is in control. Thank you so much for sharing this prayer.
