being in school now is a waste of time. did u hear if u do get a degree any degree the companies still wont hire u? i should know i have a degree and getting another one, i did some research only to find out later what i didnt like it.

i agree nobody can take ur education anyway, but its a useless piece of paper now. what i dont get is why have a degree and they still wont hire u even if ur willing to take the low salary? lots of ppl i heard and talked too who just got their degree recently or had them for a while are being turned down for a lack of experience. i am a freakin college grad entry level means a beginner now the word has a changed!

im a college grad from last year no job, had interviews, no promises. if anyone tells u something how xyz is great let it roll off ur shoulders do ur own research. try using indeed.com simplyhired.com and jobing.com

nobody wont hire me even though i didnt work that much while in college. u should keep track of what these companies are doing or saying its unbelievable. they wont hire cuz they dont like obama and they are using tons of discriminating things not to hire u as i have seen it myself. career fairs are just there to look good i mean the companies there are just at the fair to look good and not even hiring i found that out at workshops i attended.

The reason that I can't find a job is because of my mental disabillity I have a lot of anger issues and I think that places are afraid of hiring me. The reason walmart fired me was because of my anger.

It is really hard right now. I am in a similar situation. I have a Master's degree. It's been about 2 years without a steady job for me. I did go to a temp agency and they put me in for a job that lasted a month. I can't say I am overjoyed with the temp agency, but it was a little something to fill the holes in my resume and I made five new friends on the job that might...might let me know if they know of a good job open somewhere. It was a little difficult when that job was gone, but at least it was something. There is a lot of discrimination against people with disabilities. It is a really hard question whether to disclose one they can't see or not...it's a very personal decision. I've heard of some people disclosing they had certain issues and it went well for them at work, but others it causes problems. It is very hard to know the right action to take. It's very tough when you can work but you might have problems occasionally.

I am not going to give up I will find a job hopefully one day soon.

if there you have a handicap maybe voc rehab can help? If there is a voc rehab in your state and if it works. In Arizona where I used to live it got increasingly worse, took less and less people and did less and less to help for people, but I think it is better in some states.
I have physical handicaps, and it is frustrating, I know for every job I apply for there is going to be 15 people applying for the same job who have no problems to move around...and even if I know they are not supposed to discriminate I know they do. The just do.
Hope you find something. Look for things that you might be able to do without interacting too much with people, if anger and frustration is a problem people with demands are going to make it workse.
