why I think it is ironic I caught your posting here is while I had uploaded my pictures is - I thought, "my pictures show someone who can cover her bald/thinnning and short hairs spots rather well & what is other trich sufferers are going to think of my long @ss hair that is still there?"
well, all I can say to describe that is-although Ive pulled since I was 12/13 I think it just worsened slower than others. I fully wasnt pulling all this time till my age of 35- but know that this 3rd bout with trich has been the worst and longest Ive dealt with . And I must add again, tho my entire crown and some of my hairline in front is more than half gone. whats left is all about an inch long and thats because I guess I didnt pull them all out, but the others just broke off from twirling & pulling.
I am commenting to hopefully show that we probably all just are at our own pace..where I didnt pull all through these years & even that now in the last 2 years Ive reduced the number I pull out daily. So I am sure there are other sufferers that pull more & even less than me.
thx also for letting me put down this- it was a good reminder to me- the good & the ugly.
always sending good energy to all.
I have a combover that I try to work.
I took some pics of my hair. Wet.
I'll post them soon.
It's the rest of it I'm worried about now.
Madisonmouse,
I've worn hair extension since I was 15. I started wearing wigs about 8 years ago. (I'm 36 now) I alternate between the two. I pull from the front, sides and crown. I've been pull free for 60 days now so my hair is growing in nicely.
