Also, I really do want to stop, but enjoy the feeling so much. I honestly dream of pulling big roots out of my scalp when I'm not doing it. it's ridiculous, but it feels so good and i only enjoy getting these hairs, the other ones are useless and feel like nothing.

I'm not confused as to why there are different types of roots attached to the hairs, I am interested in understanding why my scalp is sensitive/sore in these areas and why I am inclined to pull these hairs. I know that these hairs are in a certain growth stage, but "normal" ppl can't zero in on which hairs on their scalp are in which stages. I want to understand why my body reacts to these specific hairs and why I get so much satisfaction pulling them!
