Hey there... I know how you feel! I pull my eyelashes and brows, but have pretty much been able to cover it up with make-up. I have become a make-up artist due to trich!

I also believe mine isn't too bad... There are people on here that pull hair out of their heads and pick until they bleed. I feel so terrible for them. I wish we could all just stop and control ourselves. Just to feel normal for a day where you aren't actually pulling, or having the urge to pull. I guess any form of trich is damaging in the same way to how you feel inside - Whether your trich is severe or mild.

I also am trying to stop through will power. Some days it's pretty easy, some days I have to pull a few brows or lashes out for a release, and some days you just have a pulling breakdown.

One thing is for sure, we are all in this together, and maybe some day we can all be pull and Trich free! To US! ;-)

Thank you for replying, CiarrasMommy. Wow, a makeup artist due to trich? I guess that makes sense. It takes some serious precision to disguise balding brows and lashes.

Hello simplevikki, im pretty new here too its sorta helping hearing about other peoples story's and stuffs...Its really interesting how almost everyone pulls there eyelashes and the majority are female!!
From reading storys and posts etc. i would say that i have a more severe version, although i do not pull my eyelashes i pull from almost everywhere else... :-( , head, nose, neck, chest, fingers, toes, knees, thighs, calves, pubes, stomach armpits...FUCKING EVERYWHERE..!!!

Don't feel bad, trickwoody89. I pull from just about everywhere, too. Pretty much the only places I don't pluck are the places where the hair is too fine to really be a decent pluck, like my legs and arms. And I've never really started plucking my armpits, I guess mostly because I keep them shaved. Like, if I shave nothing else, I must shave my pits, LOL. But the few times I've tried plucking a hair or two there, it's way too painful, oddly enough.

It's got to be a real issue as a guy, I guess, since guys tend to have so many hairy areas.

SimplyViki - I am laughing my butt off over here.... When I re-read about the make-up artist statement I posted, I had to laugh. I didn't really mean I was a make-up artist, I meant that having Trich made me a make-up artist for myself learning to disguise my bald patches in my brows and spots of no hair on my lashes.

funnily enough, I envy you, CiarrasMommy!! I wish I was only pulling from my eyelashes and eyebrows, just so my hair would look normal! :(
dont get me wrong, Im not saying you have it any easier than me at all, but I have lost so much self confidence and social skills because im always getting teased about my hair.
i know what you mean about the makeup artist, people are always commenting how perfectly drawn my eyebrows are!! well, when youve been doing it everyday for 9 years, youd expect them to look good! :P
