I would just like to add that at this stage DJ has only the basic probe which I helped him make, the twin probe is more comfortable and effective. It might be due to this that, and not having a full documented procedure to follow which has limited his success. This technique does invlove very tricky and precise positioning.

Zeph got tinnitus in May 2007 after going to a nightclub. A common occurence and something that many people experience once or more in their lives. He has'nt devoted his life to it.
I also read his story about depression. I have read many stories about tinnitus and often a common thread arises and that is, at the time of tinnitus ocurring the person is experiening emotional problems such as depression/anxiety/sadness etc....
The tinnitus journey will be unique for all of us. Some will be fortunate and it will simply diminish and disappear after a period of time. I strongly suspect this is what happened to Zeph. IMO the deal with the scenar is just co-incidence. I have a problem with Zeph telling the world he cured tinnitus and I have a problem now that he declares his intent to make a living from people who are desperate to find a cure from their tinnitus nightmare. So despite the fact that I have talked to several practitioners who have confirmed that this device can reduce tinnitus, I have produced several links to doctors who have been working on the same thing, some people's tinnitus has already been reduced by this method, you continue to have strong opnions about something of which you have never experienced. You are so convinced of this being a con which then leads you believing that I am selling a con. I am intending to make reducing/removing tinnitus part of my income for minimal cost , not offering some bogus treatment that doesn't work. If it doesn't work it will be exposed, but it will work for at least some people, because it worked for me. You have not had aural scenar treatment from this device, you do not have the right to make claims over my health experiences.

I have a problem with you saying that you CURED your tinnitus and I have a problem with you making money from those who are desperate to silence their tinnitus.
I also have a problem with you claiming that the scenar repairs hair cells as you are not an expert on tinnitus or a medical specialist and you have no idea of what is happening.
I also have a problem with desperate tinnitus sufferers spending $1000 or more on Ebay for scenars hoping for a cure because you are encouraging them to do so.
When there is an independant, double blinded controlled study of the effects on tinnitus using the scenar then it will confirm that you are right or I am wrong. Until then you have no proof that it works.

I don't believe I am encouraging anybody to buy scenars, they can make up there own mind, I am not persuading them, just informing them.

Only birds have the ability to repair hair cells in the cochlea. Mammals including us do not have the ability to repair or regenerate hair cells.

A double blinded study would be a simple excercise. No doubt adjustments can be made to the scenar so that both the patient and the treater are unaware whether they are delivering a genuine dose or a sham dose.

I have given accounts of everybody I have treated personally which amounts to 4, 3 of which do not count for reasons I have explained, 1 of which has had improvement. I have more lined up and some have bought my treatment pack and are underway at the moment.

Your last comment regarding the double blinded study only reinforces to me how unsuitable this is. The only way a study can be done for this, is if many are given this treatment tailored to their needs, and results, positive and negative are compiled. A placebo stimulation is of no value because you need to feel it, if it is working. If you can't feel it, it isn't going to work, it is a simple as that. It is suitable for drugs, but not for this.

So, in general, are you saying that you would not belive any of it until you have seen the results of "double blinded studies". So, if many people started making claims of improvement, you wouldn't accept any of it. Perhaps you would think it was me in a different guise or someone I had paid? Do you trust information only from standard medical practices? Is there one fundamental thing that makes you think that electricity isn't the answer, or is just a gripe with me, because I am not a prof. No, I'm saying that you are the only person who has claimed 100% CURED by scenar. Not a single person who you treated or supervised was CURED and not a single person who purchased a scenar and tried it on themselves has reported a 100% CURE.
Maybe a Russian claims the scenar cured tinnitus? I guess it miraculously cures asthma, hearing loss, deafness and everything else.

People are quite able to judge for themselves what they want to try and what they don't. I personally would go to a scenar practitioner before forking out the money to buy one, but that's just me. If people are willing to spend the money and give it a go then that's their decision. You've given your opinion, we all know now that you think it's a scam. Give it a rest now. This board is to help people not to continue arguing with someone because you don't agree. But I don't like seeing tinnitus sufferers who are desperate for relief throwing money down the drain.
