Well, I have waited over a year to get in. I will start my treatments in two weeks.
5 days a week for almost 4 months. Each session around 40 minutes.
Tinnitus testing, MRI, and EEG, this week.
Two weeks of preparation, prior to starting.
My friend did this 3 months ago. Did not work for him. He had multiple
sounds (5) or so. I have one sound (could be the deal breaker).
I was kinda down on the whole idea a while back. But I feel after several consultations, it just might work. I will keep you up dated.
By the way, TMS which is insurable for other disorders, hopefully in
the next couple of years, might include tinnitus.
Thank God I live 7 miles away from the
doctors office, or I would never be able to take this much time off of
work.

I have another 47 or so sessions to go, to finish my TMS.
If thing is going to work, I should see some kinda change
by the end of NOV.
I have had two decent days in a row, but that does not mean anything
to me, I need four decent days in a row, then I am seeing a different pattern, which will indicate that I feel the TMS is working.
I like to discuss this further.
I am currently starting on my 8th treatment today.
As of today, my tinnitus is back at it's normal level.

The TMS business you used is not the same TMS protocol that is used by Dr. Stubberman.
Not the same equitment, sound files, navation etc

I will have a better handle on it by the first of Jan.
If it does down stabilize. I will most likely leave the program, and re-group for Nov 2014, and try it again.
I will have half of my credits which I should be able carry over for the next time.
The Science behind it, is not perfected as of yet. Not everybody coming out of the starting gate is going to benefit the first time out.
Dr. Stubberman told me that for any reason if my tinnitus does not drop down to acceptable levels, another wards to the level that It not bothering me anymore.
The Dr, will continue with another set of TMS treatments for free, until the Tinnitus come down, to where it is not bothering me anymore.
Also, based on all my tinnitus and hearing testing over the last three weeks, my frequency range has increased over 2000 hertz
Which means my hearing is getting better and my tinnitus is coming down.
He says I will need at least two weeks to notice the difference.
Because I can hear higher frequencies, so can my Tinnitus.
The T was hidden under the lower frequencies, now with the higher frequencies, the T is being uncovered, and that is what I am hearing right now.
Once my hearing re-adjusts to the higher frequencies, the sound that I am hearing will come way down.

The exception to that would be with someone that has several multiple sounds.
Not to say TMS can't fix that, but it might take two separate TMS sessions to fix it.
I could not hear past 7400. Now I am in the 9500 Hz frequency.
My tinnitus this morning came down to a 4 to 5.
My high point in my right ear was at 8.
So now, I am hoping and praying that it stays exactly were it is at.
If so, the Dr's, theory, is starting to become a reality.
