I know I have days that I think bad thoughts, and God I wish I didn't have this condition.
But, I do and I am trying very hard to not get depressed and angry and go on with my life as best I can.
What else can you do?
Hugs,

I read somewhere when T first paid me a visit, I think it was in one of the many many searches that one does at the begining..any way sorry, rambling again!!
I read that we should make T "Our friend". Treat it gently and kindly and then lock it away. Perhaps if we get to thinking that it is a friend and means us no harm we come to accept it's presence and then just forget about it? We don't make the refrigerator noise our friend, but the concept is the same. We don't feel threatened or frightenend by that noise so our brain dismisses it and we never even pay it any attention.
Its all down to the Fight or flight syndrome from animals.

I'm sorry you feel that the way that you do, but you are entitled to your opinion. People have different beliefs and insights to things and mine happens to be very different than yours, but it doesn't change the fact that we both have tinnitus. It depends on how you decide to approach it. A person can be angry and feel sorry for themselves or a person can refuse it power over them. One path is much easier than the other, however.
Take care!
Oh the book of Job.....that's why they use the expression...he must have the patience of Job.
I want to name my T Devil-ge-gone!
But at least I am able to see some humor here.

Tinnitus is not natural at all. I also must say that I had a good friend praying for me last night and today I can barely hear the ringing at all! Praise the Lord! I will continue to pray and continue to believe for my healing. Got to have faith, friends!
