Got to comment on your picture, the figureman here is putting religious symbols under himself so is man is greater than God (god)?
If this be so than our destiny is for worms to eat into our brains (Pink Floyd) because we cannot save.
Where does cosmic conscienceness of do unto others as you would have them do unto you come from - and - do not steal, do not murder, do not commit adultrey...why is this in us (obeyed or not) as good and right things...? Our own designs are selfish (religious or not).
Here's my observations and please correct me, most religious people think they know better because of their perceived moral superiority... most non-religious are offended by the religious hypocriscy (which runs wild) and therefore discount faith.
The intellect can challange an eternal God, but a giant meteor would extinguish all arguement. Easier spoken a heart attack will do you and me in. If you would not exist beyond this why not get away with what you can, trick who you can, avoid prison, deceive where you can, gain at all cost because the weak should be preyed upon.
Why should we be good to each other if it really matters not?
Pat
I think if religion helps you that is great, but we don't really need to discuss everyones views on here.
We need to respect each other and talk more about how to help each other with this condition. I think that is what this site is for correct??
I apologize and I should no better than to fuel a religious debate here
My t is labeled to me as the tinnutus curse. Nobody cursed this except for nerve damaged that occurred in my brain thanks to listening apparently to music at excessive levels.
I have a question for the group. Do you pronounce tinnutus using the "i" as a long or short vowel sound. Do you say ti-nu-tus or tin-u-tus. Both are correct. MDs say tin-u-tus. I like ti-nu-tus.
have you spelt it correctly ? Tinnitus ? Tinutus ?
Ok you guys. I've had enough. The begining of this post was good. I replied with what I thought was a positive and helpful message. I gave an example of the refrigerator...which in actual fact is something that a Tinnitus proffessor I met with gave as an example. So I thought I could pass this on.
Only 1 person made any reference to it on this debate because it got swallowed up in the Religious argument again.
I shall visit the site but I'm not going to be posting so much. Whats the point when this happens time and again. If new sufferers come to this site, desparate for help and encouragement and all they get is bickering about religion, then it's sad for them.
I have NEVER posted my opinion about religion at all, ever, and thats the way everyone should behave.
Good Luck to everyone. I wish you all quiet ears and hopefully years of silence ahead.
Whatever....the title doesn't really matter.....he certainly knew what he was talking about and gave me lots of good advice.
