For those that live close to Oregon the Oregon Tinnitus & Treatment Clinic is having an event on September 10th to present the different treatments they offer and speak and ask questions with one of their doctors. I realize it's to drum up business but I thought it might be worth the time to go and get educated on the different treatments that are available today. I think I'm going to go as it's only about a 3 hour drive. Here's the link:

Theyre also a member of the Tinnitus Retraining Therapy Association (TRTA) established by Pawel J. Jastreboff and Jonathan W.P. Hazell to help maintain high standards in the proper utilization of TRT. The Association gathers people who are properly trained, and who provide a service to their patients according to the requirements of TRT.

I've decided to wait on the hearing aids until after the September 10th presentation and I've had a chance to meet and talk to one of their doctors.
