I have done TIPA program 6 times

Ok guys. I ran the program 6 times.

It's weird sounds coming from MARS

Seriously, the sounds are something, I have never in my life heard before.

Everytime I run the program, it does quiet my tinnitus down.

But, tinnitus is still there. It seems that everytime I use it, it seems to make my tinnitus a little bit more quiet.

I think that you need to keep running this program for like several months, before it really takes effect.

I wrote to the doctor, and ask him a few questions.

The speakers sound excellent, with the noises coming out of my I Touch

dgn58, You mention the speakers that you are using. Which speakers are you using? Also are the sounds easy on the ear? If someone tries this do they all get the same tones that you purchased? Thanks for the update! Please keep them coming.

hmm thanks for the link, just being a bit sceptical but, maybe they are after my money, with no proven track record of results, but then again nobody seems to have proven track records of results! Just me I guess, 1am in the morning on new years day still sucking up pink noise :)

Sennheiser HD280PRO speakers, are what is required to use TIPA

It's not working, the way I hope it would. I talked to the doctor in Australia the other day.

He told me, run it for three weeks, don't use any other therapy.

It's either going to work for you, or it"s not.

You will know after three weeks. I'am almost finshed with it. My tinnitus is not working to well, with the the different tones.

I'm sorry. I know how difficult it is to stay with something when it seems to be making your tinnitus worse. I started Neuromonics and quit because I couldn't stop focusing on the tinnitus instead of losing it in the music. Of course I'm not better off now and maybe I would have been if I stuck with it but I was too scared. This condition is full of mind games. I hope you have the strength to continue so you can either cross this off your list or not but at least know the outcome after 3 weeks. Good luck and keep us posted.

I don't need anymore hearing loss. I am currently on the WIDEX ZEN THERAPY.It has musical tones and white noise. I just wanted to try and get better faster, because the WIDEX, seems to take forever to get my Tinnitus, where I want it to be. It has been over a year now, since my Tinnitus went crazy on me. I have improved about 30%, because my Tinnitus was so bad, I could not do anything. I started with all my different vitamins, Lipo-flavanoids, all the anti-anxiety meds, acupuncture, massage, elavil, homeopathics. Therapy, and my own TRT.
Anyway, the doctor told me if TIPA does not work out, he has two more things for me to try.
I think its better that I wait and see what those two other things are, that he has in mind.
TIPA, is just to loud, and if you bring it down to a low level, its just not going to work for you.
He wants be to bring my Tinnitus down, by covering up my Tinnitus. So the brain reacts to the sound of the TIPA therapy.
Also, I have to stop my WIDEX Therapy, and acupuncture. I use TIPA enough, to know what direction it is taking me in. My ears can only take so much of it.
Anyway, I just about finished with it. I used up, most of my 12 minute sessions.
I think TIPA can work for allot of people. But, it all depends if your Tinnitus, get along with the sounds of TIPA. You will know, after about 15 sessions.
