Time Management Support Group
This community is devoted to helping those looking to improve their time management skills. Time management is commonly defined as the various means by which people effectively use their time and other closely related resources in order to make the most out of it.
Personally, I'm trying the "plate practice" as well as a "hope list".
Plate practice is imagining your time as a plate. You have only so much room and what takes up the most NEEDED room? Family, job, what? Also, if forces me to look closely at what things I do that are really non-essential towards my over all goals. If it really doesn't have room on my plate, I toss it. If it really doesn't apply to my goal, toss it. It's a daily thing.
The HOPE LIST is a list of want to do's not required. I try to toss one or two of those in the mix and HOPE to get them done but don't freak if I don't. They are long or short term HOPES. My bathroom being repainted is one. It is needed but I will not kill myself to do it in say 1 day but will allow a little to be done over say 1 week.

Anyway, you know, I thought I knew about Job. Really I did. Yeah, poor ole fella had heaps of trouble but never gave up on God. I must have read that book a dozen times and kept praying "God, I ain't getting it. What are You trying to teach me?" I read it in KJV, I read in the Archeological Study Bible to see if there were historical events surrounding it, studied times lines and persons living then, I mean, I hit everything I could! I looked up names & their definitions, places and their history & definitions, EVERYTHING! After like the billionth time, God finally got it thru to me. WOW! I was so dumbfounded, really. I just walked around for days going "How could I have missed that all these years?" Keep in mind I'm a PK.
The book of Job is about a righteous man who is doing all the right he knows to do but honey, there are way more lessons than that in the book. It's too long for me to post it all here. But man, what I did learn I will never forget and be forever changed and still in awe.
Tell ALEXANDER I send him a big kiss for each check and a giant squeeze hug. Then let him know that the little indent above his top lip is his guardian angel's thumb print. That's what I told my kids. I told them God assigns each of us a Guardian Angel. If you put your thumb there, you will see it fits just like a thumb print.

And girl you would have wished you had me on camera. Here I was sticking my thumb in my indent! *blush blush!* It really does work and fit though! I was amazed, I think I double checked like 5 times at least! That is too awesome! Well I will definately do that for you! That is just so cool. You always have such great insight!!! Well I am going to try to go take a nap, I seriously can not remember the last time I slept, I know that I did not get a wink of sleep last night at all, and now that Marcus is it I am going to go to his room and lay down. His room is much darker than mine :D
and side note: Alex is no longer refered to as cake batter :D :D All thanks to you! :) Even told that to Marcus (His father) and he said well she makes a really good point. So he is bi-racial :D Not Mixed *smirk* LOL!!!!!! :)
I asked my dad once what we were, you know, German, Indian, etc. He waited a minute and replied, "Mutts". ROFLOL I found out we are MOSTLY IRISH, but we do have English, Flat Dutch, and Cherokee Indian to boot. LOL I claim the majority of IRISH as that's what I am. So I am sooooo beyond bi-racial don't you think? And no, that doesn't make me a fruit cake with everything thrown in....or does it? ROFLOL Cake batter......make me giggle. OH AND A SIDE NOTE, You will only find the word "mixed" on a can of nuts. ROFLOL HUGS
