What's for supper?

I'm fixing shredded beef tacos on soft corn tortilla'a fried in butter! O yes yumo! At least that's the plan. I'm hurting but hoping pain pill will allow me to finish. I have the roast in the pressure cooker now:)
This isn't something I make often because its a long process and messy, but o so good!

Boneless pork chops floured,seasoned and fried. I will make gravy from the drippings. Mashed potatoes and and green beans from my aunt's garden. She shares her garden with us every year. She cans them.
I will sauté chopped onion and two slices of bacon to season the green beans.

I have not fried a piece of meat in a very long time. I bought the pork chops for that purpose.

Your dinner sounds really good Dix. Hope you get some relief from the pain.

i had plenty of leftovers in the fridge, so i've nibbled today and think i'll do the same for dinner.

Just had a bit of a discussion with DH. I ask for ideas for dinner and all I get is whats in the freezer!!
I say I need help because it is hard to get creative every night, He-- pulls out 2 chicken breasts from the freezer and says "chicken breasts" HELP!

Not how i should prepare them , but chicken breasts. I am temped to just boil a chicken breast and put it on his plate!

I'll make my self a chicken scampi recipe I have!

We're having gooey, cheesey, golden mounds of noodles.....Lasagna ! Tee he...I'm making my special small Lasagna tonight. I found a way to cut down my original best recipe. And adding of course a small loaf of homemade garlic bread. Yummmmmmy ! :-)

We had a vegetarian dinner consisting of polenta, white beans, and spinach (each cooked separately, not combined), and Italian bread, which we dipped in an orange-flavored olive oil, mixed with a little balsamic vinegar and diced garlic. Really tasty, everything. But now, I am hungry again. Oh well. Time to raid the frig.

I love me some Lasagna, Gwen. I think the best kept secret is cream cheese added to all the gooey and cheesy.

Not really a supper tonight. DH came home from the ranch tonight. I made cheese on toast for him and a big salad.......that he loves.

I've had peanuts, cheetoes and fritoes.

Pre cooked prime rib from TJ's Broccoli and salad. easy night, grandson and DH in hot tub then he goes home we watch football or whatever, then bed.

Look forward to dinner I am hungry!

Don't eat too much heather!

    75FIt is really cooler today and this will trick us into believing it will become cooler. Our hot summer will keep on aftert this week. We will not be fooled. Sandra, one of our regrets is not being able to visit Great Britain and travel for two weeks when younger.
