Hello Circle! We are so blessed to have each other at this strange time in the world. I am thankful for each and every one of you and pray you stay safe and don't get this terrible virus.
We are staying in (as we always do) but everything is closed or cancelled so nowhere to go anyway. My daughter is starting to feel better so the worry there has decreased. I just have this horrible feeling that this whole mess is going to get alot worse before it gets better.
Our government is promising money to the people to buy so far there is more publicity about relief for business owners and the self employed. I know they need it too but people like my granddaughters mommy need it now! She works at a small dog kennel /Dougie daycare and isn't working as she's afraid to get sick and bring it home to her baby. They can't give her paid leave and she doesn't qualify for unemployment insurance. I'll check on her when I get my check and try to help her out any way I can.
As for me personally I am in alot of pain this last couple days and I'm not sure why. My hands are starting to stiffen up so I'm doing lots of stretches with them. But my whole body feels heavy and sore. Wish I had a bath tub!
We got more snow yesterday but today is just above freezing and I can hear water dripping from the eves. We're supposed to get a few days above freezing - yay! It's nice to hear that spring is in the air for some of you and getting outside - I envy you.
Come on in and share your day. Is love to hear all about it.
Peace and hugs (we can still have cyber hugs)

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. We'd...

Lisa I'm with you, thankful for each and every one here. We have our run away place, many don't. I've been thinking how people in ways are experiencing our lives, walking that mile in our shoes. Being stuck inside and doing the same o same o is something we're use to, they're not. Hopefully they adjust. Childcare is one of the top hardest problems here too. Loss of work/income is going to effect so many in too many ways. Wish you had a soaking tub too :).
Hoping I get that call today and it's productive. I just can't afford more financial strain. They're talking extra money here too, but us on disability and social security will probably be excluded. Sure be nice if we weren't!
A good thing out of this, it costs more to oil drilling so that's stopped and our national parks are safe for the time being. It will delay it for some time! Hopefully we have people rushing right now to find other means to energize us and lose it for good.
It's raining and hard. Always a challenging day with Daisy Mae. She thinks she'll melt ;).
I've been upset I couldn't vote, but as predicted my guys won! My vote just wasn't that important ;).
Keep safe and bring it to the Circle
Peace love harmony xoxo
Ive had a very lazy day, ready for 2 days of work in a convenience store which i know probably wont have much stock!
I'm also wondering if anyone has gone off sick???
I guess i will find out.
toni, good to hear your sis is doing okay and mike is being kept an eye on. Glad the guy you couldnt get out and vote for got in.
lisa, yep everything getting closed and cancelled here too. Glad your daughter is feeling better. sorry to hear your in pain, does it get better when the warmer weather comes?
Take care : )
Empathy take care of yourself at work. It must be scary and frustrating. I've read so many stories of people getting upset with cashiers - it's not your fault. I guess they are just stressed and upset and take it out on the first person/staff they encounter. Stay strong and stay safe.
I've found a new word game to play so it's keeping me off Facebook and news sites. I've spent too much time reading about this pandemic. It's certainly not good for my mental health and that could be why I'm hurting so much.
Have a great day friends!

Sandra I feel for you having to go to work. It could go both ways slow or ultra busy! Many people stocked up fearing there wouldn't be any for later and many stocked up because of fear of getting it. Just relate if they complain, it'll shut them up! I worked retail many years ;). Complementing works too!
Lisa I'm shutting it off on tv. Slowing down the FB, though the jokes are getting funnier and stories of humanitarian are opening up. Glad you've found an outlet.
I don't think prices will increase, sales will happen for manufacturers and stores to catch up eventually. One of the goodies of being a prior retail manager, I've learned the means and ways :).
Had a yummy lunch with a gift Charlie and Wilma brought me of Amish bacon with toast, potatoes and smothered in gravy.
Taking it easy today. Hopefully I get that phone call.
That pie is just a baked pie crust.
Fill with 2 boxes or homemade pudding of your choice. Mix about 2 cups of whipped cream in it.
When your crust has cooled off. Fill with your pudding mix.
Top with more whipped cream.
I bake a little extra crust crumble and sprinkle on top.
Refrigerate.
Very simple, one of my favorites though. Chocolate and lemon are great flavors.
i want you all to stay safe and stay connected, okay. love always e
