Goodmorning all my fine circle friends!! I hope you are all well despite the yucky weather many are having. Enjoy the pic of my son and his sweet, sweet Stevie.
Today is our coldest yet with it being barely above freezing when we were out this morning. Yesterday we even ran into a blizzard while delivering the papers. It was wet sticky snow but didn't stay on the ground.
Serenity I sure hope Zeta didn't hit you too hard. Your PT lady was harassed right outside your buildin?! What a shame! The poor lady, I hope she's ok. Thinking of baby Truly and praying she recovers quickly.
Empathy you've never had chili con carne? Do people make it over there? It's awesome and great to use up stuff. Now I want some lol. Shame about your son's teeth not getting done. Soon I hope.
Moonie I had to look up Mackenzie Childs but I get it now. Can't wait to see pictures. Glad to hear you are still doing the foodbank thing. I'm sure many people depend on it and look forward to fresh foods - it's expensive. Wishing your brother well. He sounds like a real fighter.
Toni so sorry to hear your arms aren't behaving. I feel your pain - literally. My shoulders and arms are being trouble too. How is Daisy Mae doing now? Have her legs gotten any better? Poor thing :(
We've been having colder, wetter weather than usual this past week or so. Has me sore in more joints than not. My shoulders and hands bother me the worst with the work we're doing. I got some pain patches the other day but the first time I tried one on my shoulder it wasn't good. Not sure if it was the patch or just a random attack of pain. I was in bed for the night and had just half of one on my left shoulder (hoping I could sleep). About 20 minutes later I got the most horrific pain in my face - cheek bones, jaws and temples! I just hollered, sat up and held my face. Then it went down my spine and wrapped around my ribs. I've had alot of pain in the past 25 years but I never felt anything like this. I told Drew it felt like my bones were being crushed. I took the patch off, just in case that's what it was. After about half an hour it eased up and I was able to sleep but I could still feel it in my face, spine and ribs the next day. I'm trying a patch again today but on my right shoulder. So far so good.
Nothing planned for today except to make it through til tomorrow. Hopefully next week will be our last on papers. I noticed our friend who had the knee surgery had his car out yesterday so he's obviously doing ok. I'm sure he'll need a bit more time before he can reliably drive for 2 hrs every day but I need to be done!

Lisa-the pain face could be Trigeminal Neuralgia. Know it first hand. That picture of your son and Stevie remind me of a show I watched where the young gals name was Stevie. I do so hope you are doing better tonight.
We had 35 people at the food bank. I live in a tiny town and this significant. Each person was generally picking up things for family/friends/neighbors. We don't make anyone sign-in, just come in and take as much as you need.
Crocheted a new hat started at the Library and finished last night. Easy peasy and using up all my scads of partial skeins from last year. The hats will be a trifecta of different colors.
I wished DS let us post pictures in individual posts.

It's another gloomy rainy day here and somehow that makes it colder.
I so don't want to, but I never to get out in it and go get a few things. I tried stretching them out until tomorrow when I have to refill meds, but it just can't wait.
My arms don't like driving especially in this and like i said my foot and leg are burning. I'm having too much fun here. My are starting to relax some. Wish the food pantry had a better entrance that would help with lifting on wimpy arms.
Nothing heavy to lift today thank goodness.
Missed you yesterday Sandra and Moonie. I can't believe you all made the trip to the dentist and then they didn't even pull his teeth after the trip and anxiety. That was just wrong. Moonie great to hear people are excited to get the goodies at the food bank. Fresh supplies are done here.
I better get the move on.

Wow, Toni, your pain sounds off the charts too. So sorry. Hope today is better. Please stay in and rest up as much as you can manage.
I woke today with pain and feeling frantic to get things done. So glad to see blue skies return although many schools were delayed or canceled bc of flooding.
I’ve gotten a good bit done and have an adjustment appt at 4 today. One final area I hope. I have been struggling with the post office to get a package for 3 days. They refuse to deliver to the door. They told me to meet the delivery person at 12. Went down at 11:50 and had just missed her Argh!
Time to do a couple more things and get ready.

Yes we have chillie con here, its just never appealed to me, I dont like anything hot or spicy and the chillie bit puts me right off!
That pain sounds awful, must have been a bit frightening at the time.

Son has got another appt on the 17th. Hes waited a year for this.
work today was boring, i seem to be waiting for customers today, perhaps they were put off by the rain.
