Good morning circle friends!
It's 8 am here and I've been up since before 4 so thought I'd come in and say hi. It's overcast but mild today. After our snowstorm we had a day of rain and 12 C! It felt like spring. Today won't be quite that warm.
I'm going out to pick up pre-ordered groceries today. Not doing anymore shopping though. Yesterday I picked up MEd refills and made some phone calls I've been procrastinating on. I finished part 1 of Stevie's gift and have one more part to do. Lots of time so Drew is keeping after me not to put it off - I'm good at that. Lol
Sandra it is such a relief to hear of Doug's progress. He'll be home with you in no time.
Toni I used to have low BP too but now it's high if I don't take meds for it. I'm pretty sure mine is due to medication I'm taking. I hope you can figure it out and feel better.
Joanne that's so sad about the new baby. My cousin's wife lost their firstborn due to the same situation. I'm praying for baby and his family.
Serenity how are you doing today? I hope you are staying well and feeling stronger every day. Take care

Peace and hugs my friends, I'm of to enjoy another cup of coffee. Have a wonderful day,
ssLisa

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. We'd...

Being up so early, i expect you will need a nap sometime today. Not before you get stevies gift done.
Its been cold and damp here. I sure wish it was spring. My garden is looking sad.
Doug is really hoping he can come home at the weekend, but i told him not to get his hopes up. He said they spoke about having a bed downstairs until he can manage the stairs. No problem as we have a single bed i can put together. Physio will come out to him.
Joanne How is Miles ?
take care.
Lisa-good morning and indeed have another coffee. Aren't pre-ordered groceries the way to go! Love it.
Yesterday was a nutso as I decided to clean the floors before putting down the new area rugs. I had to move the really heavy leather sofa recliner and my back and legs are telling me I'm an idiot. However, they look beautiful with the myriad of bright rainbow cameras in a whirlwind pattern. Mario loved it. It took me a few months to decide on the color.
Miles the baby is off life support and I pray and hope he didn't suffer any neurological damages.
Sandra-thinking about Doug and hoping he'll be home soon.
PEACE
My gosh I know you all will find this hard to believe, but DS has been giving me a hard time! Threw out my replies ugh.
Lisa hope you're napping and I want to see little Stevie's outfit when you're done please. Wish my store had pick up. I'm on BP meds, but tried to get off of them for awhile and it was still low, but high at times,I'm weird as usual LOL.
Sandra Doug has his cheerleaders cheering him on! I don't blame him one bit for wanting to be home, you're there : ). It wont be long now!
Moonie I so hope Miles will be alright, there's nothing as sad as the little ones harmed. I'm willing to help kick your behind, but it sounds like you did a good job of it yourself!
I'm trying to get things done around here before my procedure next week. Not much recovery time is required from what I understand and hope. He said I'd be in pain for a week, but from what I read 2-3 days is more like it, he's expecting to have to do a biopsy so maybe that's where he's coming from.
I'm going to give Daisy Mae a bath sometime today. Why do I always do this when it's raining? It's coming down hard and is expected to all night.
Peace love harmony xoxo
thanks for starting us off and with such a good meme - gave me a chuckle b/c that's me, too. you've been busy! isn't it so hard to make certain phone calls, so kudos on getting those done. and part one of your gift. aren't these delivery services a lifesaver.
yesterday worked out very well and i got through some techie things i had to get done after all the running around which also went very well. we got all our stops in and had a good time doing it. then i did an extra run for a neighbor who often helps with my wheelchair (my rule for riding is a good mask and windows cracked), and after dropping him back home it was so nice i went to visit mother. i had a few things to give her and a Christmas gift she ordered for me arrived in january so she gave me that. and a dear old friend i'd reached out to without including my old number found mother on google, reached her and left a voicemail which was very exciting. so it was an all around great day.
today is labs and registration for surgery, then getting home and plenty to tackle as i can. the cortisone injection has worn off, but i pushed through it yesterday and will again.
toni, i hope you get your BP situation cleared up. that is a hard one to find a balance with that. since PT was extended they must see some good progress. i wish it were closer.
joanne, prayers for their baby. that happened to my niece's baby and she's a happy little child with no repercussions. prayers. i hope handing out the food went well. eggs are such a good thing to add.
hugs and hope
hope everyone has a nice evening.
