It is cold overnight down into the 40's which I do like as the windows in the bedroom can be opened.
That is Mateo a Blue Heron. He hangs around across from us and enjoys when we catch fish and throw to him!
Sandra, how was work? BTW how is Doug doing with his health and how is his job doing? Do you have coffee or tea rooms close to where you live and can walk to? That is one of the things I miss here and if we do move to Wilsonville, there are shops, coffee, book stores close.
Today I need to do some paperwork for taxes next year and also download some tax forms for our son in another state. He has mental health issues that are controlled and just got a great job with an apartment provided and gas card. It's a detox center where patients live in and also have doctor appointments to attend, my son drives them and and make sure they are ok when going to bed. Tax paperwork is up to him. He's been jobless for two years, he lives in a red state ( Sandra, that means the Orange One mentality and low income, low paying jobs, homeless )
Carly, which one of your siblings or is it you that will ask the Parish how much money they think they are entitled to? Or just call and say, " here is your share of the house" and be done with this. I hate all of the things we have to do when someone dies and we need to do do many things. BTW, Mom requires way too much round the clock care to live with any of us, also I admit to needing time without anyone around me to just breath and relax.
Leo, were there any last minute details with the passing of your FIL?
Today I'm really going to start painting the table, really!

70FIt is another cooler day and soon it will be a common temperature. That is the fig tree down in my garden where the figs are now getting ripe. The other fig tree is on the dike and ripens later. Sandra, the best ever fruit tree in my opinion are fig trees. There are many different options for when they ripen and can grow anywhere. They are fast growing, no bugs or diseases and basically need...

Such a great photo of that heron. I have to keep a net over my fish pond to protect them. We don't see a heron that often but they are about.
Work was ok, I so much prefer Fridays staff to Thursday's staff.
Doug is going to lose his job but we don't know when yet. I'm not if I mentioned it or not a while ago? We are just waiting and waiting for them to put us out of our misery. We are hoping it's not going to be until next year but it's possible it could be Christmas.
He's 62 in October. Who is going to employ him with his health issues and his age...5 more years until retirement, so annoying..
Yeah we pettswood don't we, it has café s.
Carly I must admit I'm confused by your situation and the church etc. I think you need to get a lawyer to sort it out for you. So have I got this right.. It's on official paper work that your uncle owns a share in the house, BUT, it's not on official paperwork that he wanted his share to go to the church?
Bromley tomorrow.
Joanne, what great picture of that Blue Heron. Thanks so much for sharing.
You are going to open the bedroom window's at 40 degrees! I would for sure have the heat on.
What kind of fish are you catching? I so love fishing.
As if you don't have enough to worry about with mom. Our children are always there to remind us more problems to come. So sorry your son has been unemployed for 2 year's. It must be such a strain on you and him.
Is he able to get by with driving those patient's?
I have given up on my sibling's go get to the bottom of it. They tried at first until we realize that it wasn't the local church but the Diocese. The don't seem to understand that when I go there I am busy still packing. I am going to call the Diocese and try to talk to someone this week.....Hopefully.
I would NEVER offer them a share of the house. Hoping they will accept a donation to the church as that is what we were told. I just want them gone so I can sleep at night with out the worry of it all.
Sandra, You think you are confused by my situation? You can imagine how I feel. lol We are all confused and so worried about doing the wrong thing.
It was always known that my Uncle owned a share of the house. But we never knew for sure if the church knew he gave it to them. Now we know because we saw it recorded. There was no will just written on a paper. Why would they even care?
I am so sorry you and Doug are going through these struggles with employment and his health.
Hoping you will enjoy Bromley tomorrow.
Sending much love and hugs to all.
