Well it's Saturday and no one else started a post so I decided to jump in. It was another hot sunny day here. Now we're supposed to get a few days off rai . Not large amounts but showers at least. Might cool things off just a little. We broke heat records on a few days for June on our island.
Got to finally visit my mom yesterday and was so nice to see her and just sit and chat. Last time I saw her was Christmas but there was a big crowd so we didn't get to have a good chat. We had birthday cake and coffee as her hubby's turned 88 on Thursday. He's doing great for his age and still rides a mile on his exercise bike every day. Mom will be 80 this year and I think they both still have alot of years left in them. Honestly they're both in better shape than I am.
I did nothing today except a small trip to the store for a few things. After the long drive yesterday I didn't have a very good day today. But I've accepted long ago that I need a day or two of rest after a trip like that.
July 3rd our province will be opened up to a bubble with the 3 Atlantic provinces surrounding us. I'm glad to hear some of the states are making some wise decisions. It is so nice to know we have more freedoms now even if I don't take advantage of them.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. The weekend has been ok so far. There is more rain coming but we do need it.
So great that you had a nice visit with your Mom. I also had a great visit with my Mom last weekend.
