Good morning and happy Saturday. I'm still at my daughter's so just a quick check-in. The two younger kids are gone for the day so just Noah and us grown-ups. We'll probably just work on tidying her place up today. I go the dishes caught up already. Here's a pic of one of her kitties with extra toes and no tail... he's Paulie (polydactyl)
I hope you all are having a good weekend.
Hugs,
Nonie

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. We'd...

Nonie-My fave cats are ginger and Manx-without a tail. I'm not sure why but they are just different enough. I hope you are having a nice visit.
A few things happened with my cardiologist calling EMT"s and now I'm back on one of my meds and that's ok. It's not a-fib just another electrical issue and all is good. When we stop and think about it, it's a miracle something as complicated as our bodies ever work perfectly.
Today Tessa and Jake will be here to paint the living room and move the TV off the wall onto the new TV fireplace stand. This will really help with furniture arrangement and my continuing search for storage placement of kitchen/dining room things.
Come on and share your day.
PEACE
Aww he's a beautiful cat : ) I hope you have a lovely day.
We just went into Orpington today, i had some trousers to take back. This afternoon i did a bit more resin craft. The octopus didnt come out that great. Resin as a craft is costly, ive only ever had a couple of things that have come out any good. It looks so easy and seems so simple, but i think it must take lots of practice to get it right.
Your so right Joanne, our bodies are so complex, and weve come on leaps and bounds where medicine is concerned.
I dont have any plans for my week off, i will just go with the flow.
Yes a lot of members were from the hen house including me : )
Well shoot Moonie we tried to get you off some meds. I guess it's better to have the extra protection though.
Sandra I thought you were doing paper mache where'd I get that from? Resin would be tricky and expensive. Something I've been wanting to do is work with clay. One of the Art groups I belong to a woman makes some very crafty works I'm in love with. I'm tempted to even start with Play Doh!
I watched 2 really good movies last night and hopefully get lucky again tonight. Where the Crawdads Sing and then We Have a Ghost. I watched them in the perfect order. I'd been wanting to watch the 1st one, I'd never heard of the 2nd.
The sun is shining bur I have more sticks and branches down. Parts of my shed took a beating.
I'm going to go down the road and do my monthly shopping. The one thing about my location is I'm right in the between the grocery store and a Dollar General. Both are just minutes aways.
Hope you've gained your energy back Serenity
I'll icheck back n later.
Peace love harmony xoxo
Lol what are the odds.
nonie, adorable kitty.. i love polys. Hemingway had one that populated Key West with their dependents. nice to you to get ahead of your daughter on the dishes.
moonie, completely agree that it's amazing how our magnificent bodies work and that we now have the knowledge to tweak the little things that don't. i hope the med does the trick.
sandra, you know i' so intrigued by all the little towns around you, but it may be similar to here more than i realize. there are so many little towns around Chattanooga that aren't too far. sorry about the octopus.
toni, hope your shopping went well. very convenient. glad you found some good movies. i like DG. good idea about the play doh. art supplies are so expensive. sounds like two good movies i'll jot down.
i've still been wiped out today. i wake up at the usual time even without enough sleep, so i napped most of the day until my neighbor annoyed me awake wanting superglue. i let him know i'm not the quickie mart, but still had some. wasn't up to a lecture on limits.
it's beautiful outside, so i went for a drive and Aldi to get a few things and enjoyed being out, but i'm back and ready to sleep. i'm just going to watch some of this series and catch up on more sleep. i have to get netflix installed on my tv when i have some focus.
hugs in hopefor a pleasant night and sweet dreams.
Serenity thanks I got everything I needed except they were out of cat litter liners ugh. Now I'll have another trip. It was nice here too. I was afraid if you let your neighbor help he'd want favors back like playing loud music and you don't complain. I really thought you'd have your strength back by now, what's up? Cleaning out always exhausted me, but a little rest and a meal upped me some. I always had grilled cheese afterwards it makes a good filler. I'm a little older now though. Hopefully tomorrow your energy returns. Dang but we go through it.
Carly any weekend plans? I saw you're still getting some weather, but I'm totally guessing your area. California is what's blowing me and others away, I saw one place has gotten 12 feet! Can you imagine! Arizona is covered, this is wild. Next you're going to tell us you're covered in snow!
It's getting dark much later now, almost 6 15. I like that so much better.
Sweet dreams all night long ☆♡☆
