Good day all,
good sleep with little barking. No one leases or fences in dogs around here or very few. Something my have riled them. Ann didn't make it, but Mark brought the stuff.
Next week's procedure is outpatient but I will be under, I guess I'll sleep when I get home. The prep is the worst.
sandra, runs on new things are crazy. Sorry your store didn't know. Haven't heard of it here.
moonie, sounds like nice decorating plans. Love fireplaces. I wish I had your cooking energy too! Sounds delicious.
toni, hope both eyes give you a break. Good luck with your memorial letter and try to get your heart into as I'm sure you are. Hope you enjoyed that movie again very good.
carly, an aunt and uncle I was very close to were catholic so that seems normal to me. I'll have to look up that special church which is a part of your family memories.
made most phone calls yesterday. It's down to the 60s today.
hugs n hope for a safe and warm day! Carly, temperate in your case ;)

88FIn 1969 we decided to get married without a big wedding. Most of our friends and family liked large over the top for the time kind of weddings and I did not. First, I didn't see why spending so much money for one day when we have the rest of our lives to live. I have never regretted not having a big formal wedding. Another issue is not liking all the attention. Also, we have gone to big...

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

I've had a bite to eat, vegatable chow main and soon I will nod off.
Delivery came at work and there was no prime drink on board the truck.
Carly don't even bother looking it up.
It's rediculas.
Someone even asked if they could have the cardboard shipper the drinks sit on .
Serenity putting it bluntly, I'm surprised they are doing both ends in 1 go. I would have thought you would have had each procedure separately.
I've heard drinking that stuff before hand is awful, never had it myself, but know family that has.
Long day tomorrow, going to see our son have lunch out.
We had a little bit of snow this morning but it didn't amount to much, less than an inch. Just enough to make everything white again and looks so much cleaner. The nights have been pretty cold but days are up around -2 to -3(C). Tomorrow is the coldest in the forecast at -14C.
I overheard the kids talking in the next room the other morning and thought it was so funny.
Him: what do you like more TV or tablet?
Her: tablet.
Him: what do you like more mommy or daddy?
Her: mommy
Him: what do you like more mommy or tablet?
Her: oh you're making this so hard!!
Like they say 'kids say the darndest things' and these kids are so funny. They are always joking around and such happy kids (though She has quite a temper). I'll miss them when they're not here every morning but I have 1 more week with them.
Carly, I didn't grow up not eating meat on Fridays but I was aware of it. Our school cafeteria and every restaurant around always had fish and chips as the special on Fridays and I asked my mother why. She said it was a Catholic thing and we aren't Catholic but I do love fish. Hope you got some sleep last night.
Toni, glad to hear at least one eye is feeling better. That means there is hope the other will follow soon. When my eyes get really dry, sore, and bloodshot I know I need to avoid screens as much as possible but it's so hard. The pain is a great deterrent though. I absolutely love Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children!! Have you read the books? They are even better and there is a series (at least 3 I think). I didn't go to my daughter's yet but hope to maybe on Sunday for a few days.
Joanne, where did all the people go that abandoned their cars? With the snow so bad you'd think it would be more dangerous to get out and walk in it. Cooking and baking are great on snow days, that's when I always crave to bake. Hope your cupboard guy made it.
Sandra, I've never heard of a drink called Prime so I had to look it up. Looks like just another sports drink to me. Can't say I'd be interested in trying it. I'll stick to my water.
Serenity I'm so jealous of your weather - 80's sounds like mid-summer to me. It is only -3C (27F) here but tomorrow is supposed to be -14C (7F). I'll trade ya! Oooh! I had a convection oven for years and loved it, especially for baking. No more burnt cookies at the back of the oven, everything nice and even and a bit faster than normal oven.
Good luck with your procedures. I have both done at the same appointment every 5 years since my dad had colon cancer. The drink is horrible and can lead to an awful night on the toilet. I've heard some people mix the drink with pop (soda) to make it taste better but there is so much of it I'd hate to add any more to it. Here they don't put you 'out' but use something called an amnesiac so you don't remember anything. I did remember my first one so they increased it next time and I didn't remember a thing.
Have a good day everyone and remember to take care of yourself. Hugs,
Nonie
Sandra they sound silly about that drink, guess it's better than drugs. Whoever is sponsoring it must be huge. I've just never been a celebrity chaser.
Lisa you sound like your having flash backs with running kids around too funny! I wouldn't do well that early either. I'm not decent yet. I have not read the books, I didn't even know there were any, I bet they're great.
It sure has cooled back down here. It was low 20svthis morning ew. It won't be long until Spring hits now. I'm seeing Robin's always the first sign around here and yesterday my doves and woodpeckers returned.
My right eye is much better, it just feels grainy and I'll just keep putting eye drops in for that. Same for the other. I'm getting there!
I need to finish my letter and get it in the mail. I'm just about there.
I'm getting real bored.
Carly just say so and I'll put up the picture of your church.
Moonie I don't know if you remember it's been awhile, but I put up a post on Facebook about donating to local food pantries and you said your daughter in law or SIL started one,, does she still have it going? Why that popped into my head I don't know.
Have a reason to smile today.
Peace love harmony xoxo
Serenity-I don't drink anything but the MiraLAX in water and it's tasteless and then 8 Ducalax tablets for my colonoscopy. I have both done at the same time and I'm out. This is every 3 years due to two colon surgeries. Good luck.
Sandra-That is interesting about the drink. My cousin and her fiancé both 25 just moved from Brisbane, Australia to London for the experience. Then in 3 years they will move to Positano, Italy where one of my brothers live. The are YouTubers and make a great deal of money. Oh, to be young and adventurous and have a portable career! Have fun with your son and lunch.
Nonie-The drivers get out if possible and trudge through the snow and ice to find public transportation or someone with a 4 wheel drive that can come and pick them up. Staying in the car can lead to freezing to death. It's a nightmare.
The cupboard guy hasn't called to cancel and I accidently erased his number cleaning up my phone numbers I don't call or recognize. Yikes!! If he lives in my small town with one major hiway and then turn on my road he'll be ok. The cars have dissolved most of the snow and ice on the roads. The major freeways are still a mess and driving is with caution. This is our worse snow storm this late in the season on record.
Sitting here and looking out the window at the snow is so pretty with the sun shining brightly. I do hope everyone will have a pleasant day.
Peace
I do the same process. Hope work wasn’t too bad.
Moonie, I hope he made it or can get in touch.
Nonie, I understand about the kids drop off! That conversation was too funny. The way they look at things:) is adorable.
I’ll try it with anything. Dreading this. Last time I went for one I had emergency surgery bc of a leak in my esophagus.
Toni, glad you’re so blessed. I’ve had awful awake experiences. I’m sure that letter is taking plenty of emotional energy. Just hope your eye continues to improve and you feel you have everything you want down. I wrote one for my dad and had someone else read it. My thoughts are with you.
I had a miserable day. But I kind of went into a stage of not feeling and got a few things done. I picked up a bookcase. Things mostly worked out, but I don’t plan on staying here unless….
Wishing all a good night. Hugs!
Serenity, There is nothing worse than a barking dog whether if you are trying to sleep or wide awake.
Good luck with your procedure. I have heard that the prep is the worse. But I just know that you will be so relieved when it is over and done.
Sandra, I was not going to look it up as I knew that other's probably knew about it.
I so understand about getting comfy. When I get out and about for shopping I cannot get those clothes off soon enough. And of course the bra is the first to go.
Lisa, what a wonderful grandmaw you are. And those kids do day the darndest things. That back and forth was so funny.
I agree, I hate being "decent" so early in the morning. :-)
We have become pretty lack about the meat on Friday thing but old habits are hard to break. I had oysters tonight instead of the Taco Bell I wanted. Don't even get me started about Never Ever missing Mass even if we we traveling. :-(
Your weather sounds so could. I hope you stay warm.
Toni, I would love for you to post that pic of the Church. I only know how to send it to emails.
I so wish we would have taken one of the inside of the Church. Did I send you one of just the Church or me acting a fool under that big oak tree? :-)
It really great to hear your eyes are improving even though it does sound like you must still be uncomfortable. I am telling you, the cave is the place to be and don't forget the eye drops.
I never thought that I would look forward to a Doc. appt. But maybe he can give me some advice or a PILL for sleep. I am so dang deprived.
I know that I didn't reply to a lot of every ones post. Sorry.
Sending much love and hugs to all.
xoxo
