Hi folks. I've been up an down over the past week. Had a great visit with my mom and then my daughter and the grandchildren. That was the 'up' part. Well that and last week was mostly sunny and warm which was a nice change. Here's the craft I made for mom for mother's day.

Saturday the rain came in so dark and dreary. Sunday morning we went for a drive and it was nice but by afternoon it was raining again. Monday I woke up early with horrible back pain. More in the back of my ribs than lower back. Same today. I don't know what triggered this pain but it's horrible and so intense.
I had my appointment with my pain Dr last week. He couldn't do much more than what he's already tried. We agreed that injections aren't worth it for me. He wants to talk to the surgeon I've been referred to and see if he can speed things up. He talked to me about the various types of surgeries that could be done which was nice.
He also looked up my knee xray and told me my knees are breaking down and as he said 'that doesn't just get better'. He had no suggestions except to consider a walker if the cane isn't enough. I'm not there yet.
Okay gotta run. Hubby just started a movie. I'll try to get in tomorrow and read up on the week I missed. Take care all.
Peace and hugs, Lisa

89FToday it is again another hot day but cooler then yesterday. Since this is August it is to be expected in my neck of the woods. All the grass is yellow and flowers are starting to go to seed. I need to water my garden but this time of the year I'm so over it, which is weird because all my plants have their fruit or veggies.Sandra, this time of year reminds me of your Dad and his toms. We'd...

Not so good about your pain. Fibro is a beast that can be feel impossible to conquer! There are simple things we can do to calm it at times. Weather is a major trigger for you and you can't control the weather, but you are cannabis legal get some medical and you might be surprised. Just don't wait until your pain is full force. I'm not going to advocate smoking either, so edibles or ointment.
There is knee surgery, my dad should have done it years ago. I'm trying to think of the doctor's name that pioneered it, he is from my area. 6 weeks recovery, but everyone I know that had it was walking in 2 days. Check with another doctor on this don't give up!
Love your craft! So cute! Bet your mom loved it <3
When a dr says they cant do much more i wish they would add, "but i know someone who might be able to help"
I feel like saying "you might have given up but i haven't yet"
