Hmm this is hard and I am giving a non answer here. Katherine was great perfect scores. Of course William did the sexy no shirt off thingy which scored points with his ga ga fan gallery and Donald' final dance was great. Even though they are all great William because of all his women fans will probably win. Actually wouldn't mind it if Donald or Katherine would win instead.

Yep - I agree with everything you said boomer. I think William's sex appeal, getting him a lot of votes, and will probably put him over the top - winner-wise.

Regarding the show tonight being three hours long, I think the first hour is a rerun of yesterday's show.

Yes I probably will vote for that. Not sure I know enough about all who have been on Dancing With The Stars to be intelligent about that. Oh wow - I just watched who the 3rd place is and I'm shocked. I really thought William was gong to win. Huh son of a gun......wow - just wow.....

I don't know how long William has been here from Cuba - but he sure has put a good life together. I think the exposure from being on this show is gong to take him right to the top. He is one appealing guy....and I'll bet we see him in movies soon.

Are you going to watch any of the upcoming contestant shows? "Duets" is starting next week - I think it should be good - but not like this show.

Nope not at all Katherine was far better and even William was better. Donald to me was the least capable one to be a winner of the mirror ball. The scoring stunk. I don't think all the couples should have gotten a perfect score. Me thinks Donald won cause he is more better known than Katherine and come to think of it I don't think any foreign personality ever won the coveted "Mirror Ball".

I don't think I will be watching Duets as I am more into just the dancing type shows. Yes I did put my vote in for next season.

Did you noticed how William's son cried when he didn't win. I thought I heard that he (William) was responsible for the break up of Jennifer Lopez's marriage.

About Donald, I don't think he should have even been in the finals - but I guess a lot of people liked him? I think his western dance was great but I don't know - his winning just doesn't fit somehow. In fact this is so disappointing that it kind of turns me off to watching the show again. I don't believe that more people voted for him than either Katherine or William.

Anyway - it sure was a good season.

Huh - well if what is in that article is true - no more caring about this up and coming young man from me - he's already there to a large degree. Wow - and he seemed to be genuinely shy and self-effacing - a bit.

Maybe his history got in the way of his popularity a bit? Sexual batter of a minor, if that was fairly common knowledge - would not have helped his scores. Interesting.......do you suppose the producers of Dancing With The Stars did not want that kind of publicity? To have him win?

Good question in which I never thought of Linda as I only was going by my memory (which isn't that reliable) but was surprised at the sexual charge and it could very well be that with his winning and then the media blitz for a bit of his winning this might take presidence over his winning.

The choice of Donald makes such little sense.

It just seems that there must be more to this than we are seeing. Besides it is show business and I'm sure they don't want to take a hit in popularity by choosing someone who would make some people stop watching their show. Interesting - okay I'm going to do some research on Katherine.

Nope nothing in her background - except she took drugs very briefly when she was in her late teens - and she was mugged and almost raped when she was in college. This is according Wikipedia.

I think it just comes down to Katherine not being as well known here as Donald so since it is based on half judges and half call in votes with not as much time as usual I tend to think perhaps this happened.

Wonder how much they check out their stars before asking. Then I think of Tom Delay (not sure if that is the right name) and his congressional scandal. He never had a chance to win so probably a safe "older contestant" pick. So many questions???????????

You are probably right about the fact that Katherine was not as well known here, and that affecting the final count. Football stars are pretty popular in this country.

The look on Katherine's face when they were waiting for the final decision - was very sad - made me think they already knew before they announced it. Also when they were interviewing Donald he had an oddly confident attitude about taking home the "mirror ball". I still think something smells funny - but maybe not.....
