I tried to call in a few years ago and the recording said - "votes for this party are now closed" - or words to that effect. It was immediately after the couple had danced - weird.....

I think it's because we are 2 hours behind the rest of the country. I think you and I are on the same time right now. When I went online last night to vote during the show, it said that voting was over too. Or something to that effect... Which really kind of blows - don't we get to vote now too?

Yes well - then we don't get to vote apparently. We can't call in before they dance :) And that's the only way we could work around the time lapse.

Okay so I can stop being paranoid about their saying that the voting is closed - (thinking it's a set up in the first place) - and just realize that the voting is truly closed. Okay - I can accept that - good thinking TNWife.

It is Dancing With The Stars night are ya gonna watch? Who do you think might get the boot?? I be thinking perhaps Gladys or Melissa ah but I will just have to watch and see.

Yep I'm going to watch - I'm sort of addicted to these dancing and singing competitions I guess.

I think it is time for Gladys to go - but I've thought that for the past 2 weeks - so who knows.

Do you ever try to guess what the judges are gong to score? And if so are you often right as far as what their numbers will be?

I love doing that.

I thought Derek and his partner were fabulous and I didn't see the mistakes they made. They are adorable together, imo.

I thought Jiillin (sp) White scores were too high and I disagree a lot with the judges cause sometimes they are so forgiving and other times so critical. I soooooooooo loved this disco night seeing the Temptations etc. Always felt akin to Motown as I am a Michgander. The music they played ahhhhhh the memories.

I think the dance off will be between Gladys and Melissa (although I thought the judges were way to low with her score) but I who knows, I really like the opera singer (she to me is such a cutie) was great.

I so like the inspirational dance and so hate the dance off. I mean really really dislike it. So far it has always been a no brainer who is going to win. A little "excitement" with one vote for Gladys but to pair her up with Rossane (sp) no surprise who got the boot.

I think that opera singer is absolutely adorable. She is gorgeous but so darned sweet it would be impossible to be jealous of her.

I don't like that dance-off thing either. Too much going on. I hope they don't keep doing that. I missed it tonight except to see that Gladys was saying goodbye.

Yep it is - and I'm glad you brought this up - I wasn't even thinking about what was on tonight.

Oh I never forget DWTS. I did like opera night and that little Jackie what a voice for one so young. I thought Maria and Derek were superb. Poor Melissa just doesn't get a break. The team dance was good. I kinda think Melissa will get the boot but who knows.

I sure love the inspirational dance what a come back. Well they had the first professionally trained dance off and I though Luie's team should have won. Now it is time for the dance off Jillale and Roshan hmmm. Really thought Melissa was going to get the boot but nope. The dance off was close but Jillale (sp) lost.
