I woke up this morning in a little more pain than usual, the car door, but I'm doing OK.

What about the car door Dave?? I hope you are ok. I have a feeling that when you say "a little more pain...", you are in a lot of pain but, like my dad did, you "handle" it. I am just keeping you in my thoughts and prayers my friend. How's Rocco...potty outside for grass candy today?? HEHEHEH HUGS!

Cut my lawn (more weeds than grass) for the first time since my surgery. I have a rider but the turning is the rough part. I can feel the pulling in my back where the Dr.cut me. I had 1 neighbor cutting my yard then he had knee replacement,then his son was cutting both yards. Next week I think someone else will cut the grass. The lot is 165X300 with LOTS of turning, thats the killer. Just more pills for now. Will try in a few more weeks!
NEVER GIVE UP!!!

This is the first year that I have had to hire someone to cut my grass. Just another thing taken by chronic pain. Of course surgery will cause us to need assistance, but it still stinks.

The edge of the car door hit me in the back yesterday. Doing OK though.

Thanks Grandpa for the never give up reminder. That is critical.

David, I am so sorry the car door got you. Please take good care of yourself and take it as easy as need be. I hope your pain eases as the day passes.

Thanks to all of you who administrate here, and who post here. For me, it is a "safe haven"..where I always feel cared for, respected, and safe. There are not many places that I feel those things.

I've been having a ridiculous amount of pain these last few days. I'm up between 3:00 and 3:30 every morning...starting the battle and hoping I can get it under control in time to work. Then I just wait for the day to be over...

I'm not in a good place mentally or physically.

hi all, i don't know why (i KNOW i'm not preggers) but i've been getting so nausias a few times a day every day for the past 3 weeks. Along with the nausia i get really fatigued so i've been napping almost every day sometimes even twice a day and going to bed super early cause i'm so exhausted. I think its the heat but i have not been feeling good for a while. I haven't really been able to enjoy much of the summer cause ive been so sick. I can't wait till it cools down in september, i think i'll be feeling better then.

i love this idea for a thread i like to see the window into all you guys's daily lives

Ouch David!...just thinking about the car door hitting your back makes my back hurt. Ah Ray! I hate being nausea! Hate it. When I had my last bout with erosive gastritis I'd call my mom when I started feeling sick...lol, I knew the throwing up was going to start and I'd cry because it was gonna hurt. Hugs Jan! Gentle of course, I'm sorry your feeling poorly. Many of us are feeling extra pain, fatigue or dealing with illness so for all of you......gentle healing hugs! No charge!

My daughters husband recently lost his job (they just purchased a house). I'm really worried that he won't be able to find anything available. The job market in Michigan sucks! Their cable and Internet were shut off, now the phone. I'm praying they can keep up with the electric and of course their house. If you would please keep them in your prayers.

I am so sorry so many here are hurting so much. Rayray I totally understand your fatigue. I have been getting up at 10ish and still taking naps. Today I layed down at 2 and the next thing I knew it was 5. Ugh I hate that. I always feel so drousy the rest of the day. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. My younger daughter has dance from 4:30-7:15 and hubby doesn't get home till 7:30 so I will have to go and have my older daughter drive. That is a long time to be there. She started dancing last year and they moved her up to an advanced class so she can't miss these classes. No afternoon nap for me tomorrow. I think I'll need a slurpee to get me through it!! LOL

Foofy...Sorry you are feeling so bad. You SURE there's no bun in the oven?? :)

Debra, sorry to hear about your S-I-L losing his job. In this shaky economy, it is really scary to think of looking for work, and keeping up with bills, etc. I hope he is able to find something soon.

Just had to drop in and put my two cents in. Cherry I kind of know what you mean but I do sleep longer. The past week and this week it seems I am just waiting until I can take my pain meds. The whole day seems focused on the neck pain. I am sorry you are having more pain.

David I agree your run in with the car door could fall under smooth move. Of course it really wasn't your move it was the vehicles move. I am like everyone else and hope every bit of the SCS is where it is supposed to be.I agree it is stinky that you can't mow your lawn. I think every man gets pleasure from that. My man has a cold beer after and has such a satisfied look on his face.

Grandpa same for you. I bet you just don't want to put anyone out. You have to think of what Cinnamon said about hurting your surgery. Did they tell you that you could do that?
Is it the same for driving a vehicle. When you turn steering wheel you get pain.

Cinnamon you said a lot of what is on my mind. Especially about this wonderful family.
I hope you are doing okay and maybe not having as many GI issues. How are the knees?

Super one with the tail feathers I hope you are getting some rest and enjoying your daily watering on the deck.

Foof something is going on with that tummy of yours. Are you eating anything and is everything coming out if you know what I mean.
