I don't believe we have to be the elders, but I sure believe in praying for others. I have seen Gods work this and His strength and poswers are awesome and amazing and hopeful.
We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.
1 chronicles 29:11
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

These verses were the first in this thread. They mean so much to me. You all do as well.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them;
because they are spiritually discerned.
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
Love the LORD your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.
He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up; so He led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
For the LORD gives wisdom,
and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
He holds victory in store for the upright,
