Spouses of Transgender Community Group
Being transgender it's not easy but neither for their spouses. This group is created with the intention of helping and getting to know others that are in. the same situation or to just educate those that are on the other side of the fence and want to know how does it feel or how would it feel to be a spouse of a transgender person. The main objective of this group is...
Take care.

I definitely recommend going to couples therapy. I bet your spouse is on a high right now--relieved that he's told you and he's ready to make the change, but I imagine your spouse may not have thought through what this will mean for your relationship. I think working with a counsler will help him see that.
I have just had a conversation about how fast things are going and he proposed we start again. He's going to take off the wig and makeup and start with pjamas and when we both feel more ready move on from that.
We are both going to look into therapy and hopefully that will at least help sort out emotions on both sides.
It does feel so much better to be able to talk to others in similar situations!
I just need to force myself to stop thinking of what we are leaving behind!
