That is so sad, I understand. I miss my man's fluffy bum and hairy arms. I don't mind smooth skin elsewhere, but the arms just look WRONG. I miss seeing his boxer shorts in the wash. I miss his denims (which he always looked good in). He always had such a nice bum too - now it's just baggy and flat (due to him losing weight) and when he's dressed (in his padding) it's round and horrible :(
Gender DOES matter, it matters a lot when it's what we fell in love with. It's so much to come to terms with when that goes away.

Yes I agree. I always found my partner really SEXY. I've told him that I won't have that feeling about him any more, but he doesn't seem to care :(

I don't mind the body hair being gone, I was never that big a fan of it anyway. Although his shaving time in the shower is super annoying. I miss his facial hair. That scratch on my chin when we kissed. I miss always being the little spoon. I miss not having to worry that he will borrow my clothes and makeup (although that apparently happened without me knowing). I miss his man smell.

The thing that helps get me through this, I don't know if it will help you ladies and it doesn't always work for me either, is seeing how content, happy and authentic he seems when he shops or we talk about makeup tips.

yes the scruffy-ness and the scent I miss those. I don't want to talk makeup tips with my husband. even if he did discuss that stuff with me, it won't make me miss my man any less.

He doesn't really like shopping - gets all his stuff online. As for make up, he has his own, and doesn't take any tips from me. He knows best. As always.
In fact he doesn't act like a woman in any way, shape or form. At all. Not that'he's ever been a macho man at all, far from it. But he shows no interest in any feminine pursuits or interests at all.

Ha ha yes, he sometimes tells me I have too much make up on - and all I ever use is a bit of eyeliner and mascara. Just because he likes 'subtle' it doesn't mean I have to!

Oh snap. My spouse asks me for tips and help all the time. I have my cosmetology license and he constantly wants help with his hair, wigs, makeup, ect. I have a VERY strong style (I have a hot pink Mohawk and wear lots of makeup), which is not for everyone, but he for sure knows he doesn't know more then me. Haha.

It's hard losing them. It has been almost 4 years since disclosure and watching my husband slowly disappear has been the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I still miss him, but the woman he has become..... Let's just say she isn't the type of woman I tend to be friends with. We just don't mesh.

I have always hated chest hair, so him shaving the little he had was welcome. One of the few changes I've welcomed so far. There have been a few. :)
