Hi, everyone. I just want to offer my support for you all and don't give up! I didn't! They say if you quit smoking for 5 years your lungs will go back to what a non-smokers lungs are. Well i just hit my 5 year mark and i am damn proud of it! I smoked for 16 years from the time i was 18 to 34. I got so sick of the smell, taste, smoke in my eyes. I did it for my daughter because i never wanted her to start so i made a deal with her that i would quit so long as she never started. You have to have the will power!
Always tell yourself that you can NEVER go back, EVER!!! Not even 1 cigarette at the party! no special occasions, nothing! no excuses. I told my self i would never touch one again after i quit and i haven't. It gets easier believe me. After 6 months to a year i didn't crave cigarettes anymore and didn't even want one. Don't let cigarettes control your life! You have the will power over the nicotine. Get your life back!

Is anyone here allergic to Sulfa that is currently taking Diamox? I have been diagnosed with IH now for almost 2 years. I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax.
