ERIC CLAPTON: Yes about ten months ago I stopped smoking, yes. That was, actually I went to a hypnotherapist, I have to say, and I found that was very useful, very useful. In about an hour and a half it was over and I, I probably had about two or three days that were, that were tough and then it was fine.
(In his book CLAPTON he mentions that it was a little bit more than a few days that it was tough. He did say that he was ready to quit-that he'd had enough)
DAVID FROST: That's fantastic because some people find it incredibly difficult?
ERIC CLAPTON: They do, I think if you've had enough you've had enough you know.
I read about his quitting smoking in his autobiography CLAPTON. He was about a 3 pack a day smoker. he wrote in the book that he tries to help others quit, that he has gone to stop smoking seminars to speak about his experience. I found this very uplifting because he writes that he does not miss it at all. he is very happy to be a non smoker. Considering all that he has over come, this is very inspirational.

I am allergic to Sulfa drugs meaning that my throat will swell up so my Neurologist put me on Topamax. I was suffering from major loud whoosing noises and the topamax helped that but everyday I still hear those mainly between 6 - 12 pm. I am at my wits end and have not went...
