I'm jumping in from another board, so apologies first and foremost. I've noticed that a mole of mine, that was raised before but smooth, has recenlty gone kind of bobbly, it looks like it has four or five skin tags in it, for want of a better way of describing it. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and the mole is at the top of my belly and has been obscured from my view by my boobs (tmi sorry) so I don't know WHEN it changed, but I do know it looks different and is a little tender at the moment. I'm not one for going to my doctor, I was put off when I had to go repeatedly for six years with abdominal pain, to be told I was making it up for painkillers, to then find out last year I had undiagnosed gallstones that had caused severe pancreatitis which very nearly killed me. Should I bite the bullet and go in, or am I over reacting to what is a normal change? Is it a normal change?

That all being said, ANY mole that changes should be checked. I suggest highly that you find a GOOD dermatologist (do not go to a PCP). The problem with that may be a good dermatologist is hard to get into. Asked to be put on a waiting list and, if going to a PCP is your only option to receive a visit in a reasonable amount of time, request the removal using punch biopsy.
I wish you all the luck that your mole is benign. Most of the time it is but you should not hesitate regardless.
