Short Stature Support Group
Shortness is a vague term without a precise definition and with significant relativity to context. Because of the lack of preciseness, there is often disagreement about the degree of shortness that should be called short.
I am a petite woman, 5'1" and have dated men in the range of 5'6 to 6.6.5", okay? So it is not about height. Look at all the movie stars, like Brad Pitt who are 'short'. I have two brothers. One is 5'7" and women have been all over him all his life. Another, not quite as good looking, Is 5'6" and he married a woman 5'11". He just does not care. Apparently, neither did she.
The point is if a woman says she doesn't like short men, forget her. There are a lot of other women out there who will just be wild about you. Oh, and I have a daughter who is 5'2.5" and is model looking georgous (this is not Mom talk .. this is what I have heard,she has heard all her life ... oh you should be a model, etd. She turns heads like crazy but only has eyes for one man.
Anyway, she married a guy barely 5'6" and not good looking at all but you know what, he is the handsomest most wonderful guy to her and when they look in each others eyes, you know they have the REAL thing. The kind of love that will pass all the tests ... of time ... etc. , they have something very special. I have never seen another couple who are as "there" for each other as they are.
Leave the loser-women who say no ... there's so many others to choose from. Stick with the winners and leave the losers behind.

I appreciate your comments. It does help me feel a little bit better, but this kind of stuff you posted is great for those guys who fall in the 5'6-5'8 range, the range I call "somewhat short." The real struggle is when you get to the 5'0-5'4 range "extremely short". Life is brutal for those guys. I can attest because I stand at barely 5'4. The upper end of that range. I try to be happy that I'm not 5'0, because they have to deal with so much more than me, but it's just hard you know.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
