Herpes zoster, colloquially known as shingles, is the reactivation of varicella zoster virus, leading to a crop of painful blisters over the area of a dermatome. It occurs very rarely in children and adults, but its incidence is high in the elderly (over 60), as well as in any age group of immunocompromised patients.

I had the shingles in april 2019 i still have fatigue occasionally but my most concern is i cant stand to be touched & the pain i had them on my upper back, chest, armpit & down to my wrist all on the left side the pain was so excruciating i could not rest or sleep for four to five days sometimes a week still to this day i have pain & dont want to be touched i dont see a doctor because i have no benefits i have tried home remedies i am to my breaking point i am open to suggestions to minimize the pain & to get back to normal.

Mom had shingles really bad in 2012. Today is still having pain. It does get better. Until she broke her ankle(,2 and 1/2 yrs ago) , it was so much better. Then it started up again slowly. But her problem was the narcotics for the ankle. She was overdosed. Now nothing works well.
We just had a visit from a therapist and she said gabapentin worked well for her. Some people swear by that and some don't. It helped my aunt but not Mom.
If you can use ice packs or hot packs--no drug help, see if either of those help. I use a product called Stop Pain for my shoulder and neck. It helps me sleep. I get it at walmart. If you can use lidocane there are patches with that in them. Mom is allergic to them.

HOW I GOT CURED OF HERPES DISEASE
I'm here to testify about what DR. OSO did it for me. I have been suffering from (HERPES) disease for the past 5 years and had constant pain,especially inside my body.
