How do I live through this

My husband sexually abused our now 11 year old daughter at the time she was 9 and im still so sad and hurt by it all anytime I see happy marriages it just breaks my heart because I had been with this man since high school and never in a million years would I had thought something like this would happen.......he was sentenced to 20 years in prison and 5 years probation my daughter has been in therapy and I really just started going to therapy.........all of this has effected my relationship with God and with people.

It's great that you're in therapy..... It will take time.... You've gone through a terrible betrayal and so has your daughter

Continue your therapy and maybe seek some in person support groups for sexual abuse, I don't know where you live but I am sure a quick google search could point you in the right direction. Maybe being around women who have been through similar things would help you feel less alone and see what they do to work through it as well. I am sending you hugs and a reminder that you are so much stronger than you even realize. Also sending hugs and prayers to your daughter. It won't alway feel this way, there are so many emotions at play here, it will be hard but you are capable of getting through this and gaining some sense of self back. I am so sorry this has happened to you and your daughter and big hugs to y'all.
