I was sexually abused by my 1/2 brother who was 4 years older than i was. My sister was 2 years older than i, she claims she doesn't remember, even though she was present during several attempts my brother made. my mother knew that my father sexually abused my brother, i'm not sure if she knew what my brother was doing to me. when i told here many years later her response was poor d, he did to you what your father did to him. not a word that she was sorry for what had happened to me.
i have no memories before i was 6 years old. my first memory was bring home my baby brother. i got in trouble because i cried because i couldn't see him. i got to sit on the couch until bed time. i never got to play with him, or even get a diaper or wash rag for him. he was my fathers first son and he was the favored child.
my dad died when i was 11, probably a good thing since my mother wasn't protecting us kids from his abuse. i'm sure she was afraid to divorce him with four kids to take care of.

Upon his departure, he remarked, "I am in many people’s pockets; no one will believe you." Have you ever grappled with the silence that follows sexual assault, where the perceived impossibility of being believed necessitates self-censorship?

Your sister might well not remember what happened to you, even though she was there - the same way you don't remember anything before age 6. It sounds like there was a lot of trauma in your home, and trauma affects memory.
I am very sorry for all you have been through. I hope you are or will be in therapy to help you heal from it all.
