Best ways to self help?

I have made a few ways to cope
over the years.

i use an imaginary eraser on the bad feelings and images in my mind and work on erasing them so its a white page.

I also have an image i can call up of a safe place away from anything outside or worse inside my head that trys to get me and i can think that when times are to hard.


anybody have good ones that may be good for others here?

Writing a journal or poetry, even a letter to your abuser(s) and burning it or tearing it up. Going for a walk or a jog or doing some sort of exercise, art therapy, singing or dancing, getting online to a support site like this, reading, spoiling yourself like in a day spa or getting a manicure etc - anything that makes you feel good about yourself

i did a letter to the child i was thing.
but it wasnt for me that one.
but i can understand it
accpeting your mind state as a child is not the same as now, you have to forgive that
i just wish i could forgive my self as much as i do others.i dont know who is blaming me

deciding that I am worth getting better for is the first thing I did for self help.. I know it sounds corny.. but it was a decision I had to make.

Journaling has been very helpful to me too
