Mot of all we need to know we didn't deserve any bad that was bestowed upon us by users and abusers.

Unfortunately, sexual abuse has two effects on the victims of it. One is "hypo-sexuality" in which the victim avoids all sexual contact if possible. The other is "hyper-sexuality" in which the victim seeks out sexual contact. I have seen a lot of both from survivors and, if they've gone so far as to label these reactions, then they both must be pretty common responses. Normal? Well, maybe for us.......But I'm sure we can also change that in our lives.

and do you think it is something that can happen if you find yourself in a certain situation , even if you don't want it to happen , but you are out , some friends have left you , you've had some drinks ??
its something my gf did , but she finds it hard to face , and i worry that in a certain situation she might do something neither of us would want .
would appreciate some advice .
