Sometimes i get like that.
I havent being able to work due to leg and back problems all the time.
I was talking to another person here at ds about it but hardly anyone does talk about it.

I believe you! I know sometimes it's hard to explain or convey how we feel and what our body is doing to us - but yes I get the same way! My walking has been slashed to 5-10 minutes intervals for weeks now. It hurts so bad that I have not so jokingly considered just ripping off my right leg! Sometimes the smallest things have been a joy to me!I'm trying to find joy in doing the smallest things. Tonight I cooked a nice dinner for my family and actually stood and walked around the kitchen for at least 30 minutes without sitting!!! Now that my belly is full I am now sitting miserably wondering when the pain and aches will ease up! I am not complaining because I do not want my family to feel bad that I hurt trying to do something for them. I will do it again tomorrow if it makes them happy!
Please do not be ashamed to talk about it, ecspecailly not here - this is the place for it. How are you handling the pain? Are you on any meds? I'm really sorry for what you are going through and I'm here if you ever need someone to vent to. Take it easy and don't push yourself when you are feeling weak! Big hugs!

Im on pain killers that have just been doubled
..i was ok today on only 2 pills
ive had a bad week i lost my job
because i coulnt do it

i went to the doc's and when i tryed to tell him all the problems but he didnt listen

tryed to put it all down to depression
that really upset me

Pain can certainly compound depression and again, I'm sooo sorry you are dealing with the pain, the job situation, and the uncompassionate Dr! I"m glad you have some pain killers to get you through and that they are helpful. Next time you see your Dr let him know how each day goes. Today I started a pain journal and on the 3rd I am going to see a therapist because I just can't handle it anymore. I really really try to stay positive and "active" in life, without being physically active. It's hard and we all need help to get through it! I wish you the best in finding a job that you can physically withstand. Look at this step as a blessing in disguise that you don't have to go back to a job you can't do anyway! the new job and went back to the old one
but its less presure there

i cant see the same doctors or even my own doctor ,they are to buisy

really the doc does not give a rats ass about
what happens
they just want you out that door so they can hit targets

he had me down as a mental cese because i came back !!
i was disstressed because its 5 months

,i went there with no pain killers so he could access me me better
but he never left his chair

all i got was double the pain killers IF you like

i left ..held myself together then sat in my car crying in the car park i dont want to ever go back

Your Dr's appointment sounds VERY aggravating! I can't believe how they treat you and push you off with just more meds. Try this, call the Dr's office and ask to speak with a nurse. Tell HER (or him by chance) that you are not happy with doubling your meds and that you would like to request some testing - X-ray, MRI, CAT, and that you would like to get referrals for a few specialists. They cannot tell you No. If they do then call your insurance provider and tell them that you need a Dr referral and that your Dr will not help you. Say it until your blue in the face, you want answers not meds! I wish you will on your journey to pain free days and will help encourage any way I can.
